As a West Ham fan, I don't understand why some Newcastle fans feel down. I thought Newcastle played very well indeed (certainly consistent with their current form) and West Ham were simply lucky! Cheer up! Newcastle have more good times ahead, probably in their next match against Crystal Palace. As far as the future for West Ham goes . . . I don't know!

@@westynufc90 Tbf I heard a lot of people saying a cold Monday night at St James’ the crowd would be electric, but it was really flat, why did it promise so much and deliver so little?
@@Craig-g8r agreed mate, Longstaff nowhere near good enough for the PL let alone England. Deluded fans, but with all the Spice and weed around here, it's no wonder
This game sums up this PL season. Spurs lose at home to Ipswich, then beat City 4-0 2 weeks later. Forest beat West ham 3-0, then lose 3-1 to Newcastle, who then lose 2-0 to West ham. Countless examples of this. It's what keeps the PL at the top of the tree. As for Howe.....I said in AUgust that they would move him on in May 25 - I just think that the Owners want a 'name' who will attract players to the North East. Howe won't do that.
The start the caller said “there’s no easy game in the PL”…both cundy and Jamie agreed…yet, they all claimed how easy slots had it since he joined Liverpool 😂😂😂
I'm a Newcastle fan and full expected this. I've not see us play well all season. It's all huff and puff and Howe is picking Longstaff ahead of Sandro Tonali.
Y dont you judge Newcastle at the end of the season or in march atleast, for example spurs lose to palace and Ipswich but beat man city twice, wolves have an awful start but beat fulham 4-1, man city lose 5 in a row in all competition, its just the competitive nature of football
Isak in London 2025? No point to keep Isak when Gordon and company are unable to pass the ball. Every week the same story. Isak runs and nothing. Sell Isak or get a target man player, maybe Gyokeres. Then Isak will be the feeder and Gyokeres can score.
Lol you love a good rabbit hole of footy manager dont ya 😅 Gyorkes wouldnt come here man he's wanted by 6 elite european clubs that have european football. What we gunna offer him a target of top 6 finish and a good cup run lol
Longstaff is the scapegoat but he gives balance and legs in the middle. Look at the results with him in the team compared to without and our win percentage is much higher. I think Bruno is the issue, he's been off it most of the season but Howe will never drop him. @@chrisburton4128 Agree to a point, but that is like saying we should have a marathon runner in there, does not need to know football, just for balance and legs.

West Ham were lucky tonight that Newcastle didn't have their shooting boots on, West Ham were the best they've been all season but I'm not convinced with them on one performance .
Newcastle fans might pretend they're not in the Big 7, but they are. They get preferential treatment from Sky and always have. West Hams midfield and positional play was exceptional. Ball winning, passing out of tight area, and defence slitting passes, lovley to watch.
