Check out one of Big Country's last music videos for their song "Fragile Thing". I believe it was filmed in 1999. Such a beautiful song but probably the most heartbreaking Big Country song you'll ever hear. The video fits the tune and the mood of the song perfectly.
This is from their 1993 album "The Buffalo Skinners" which was both a return to form for the band and an absolute f'ing masterpiece. You won't go wrong with reacting to any of these tracks, but if I had to pare down the list, I'd go with: The Selling Of America Chester's Farm We're Not In Kansas All Go Together What Are You Working For? Ships was co-written by Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson
This was originally just an album track on No Place Like Home. It was the re-recorded with added guitars for the next album, The Buffalo Skinners and was also released as a single. Just a Shadow, Thirteen Valleys and Chance are other great slow songs. Also need to check out Long Way Home, Tall Ships Go, Where the Rose is Sown, Wonderland, Eiledon and When a Drum Beats to name but a few.
So well observed. As always, thank you for your Big Country reactions. They're very much appreciated. 💙
best band ever!
Love your honest reaction 😘😘
I'm not crying, you're crying

Personally much prefer the No Place Like Home version
This is a great song, one of my favourites, You really need to listen to “The Storm” it’s one of their best ❤
Wonderful band, great song, excellent lyrics and musicianship. Thank you for another review of one of my favourite band's songs 👍
