Balboa Island has a very special place in our hearts. We were engaged on Balboa Island and lived here the first 6 months of our marriage. It was so much fun taking our kids back and walking down the beautiful streets. We stayed at an adorable cottage on the island courtesy of Airbnb, where we ate Balboa bars, rode the ferris wheel and went sailing. Dorothy went surfing for the first time and got up on her first try!
