If you're ever stuck in quick sand: 1. Deliberately calm yourself. Deep breaths, etc. Struggling will only make the sand solid and cause you to sink faster. 2 (ankle deep) take small steps and shuffle out of the sand. (In story resume running, promptly get caught.) 2 (knee or hip deep) lay back and spread yourself out. "Swim" to safety (this would definitely prompt a further pig in the mud comment, but we'd get out on our own. I doubt he'd keep his word though. Or maybe he will. Either way we'd still be exhausted from the event.) Edit Also a note about whipping He goes way too fast. 33 sounds like a lot but if he intends to make it hurt hes going too fast. By the time the listener recognizes the pain outside of shock he would already be done.
To be entirely fair I only really did the whipping that fast to not drag the time out too long, but yes it would be more optimal to spread them out. Especially targeting the softest parts, under the arm, behind the knee, inner thigh, etc. The fun stuff :D
I can delete this if its offensive. But The story pacing is kinda weird, he feels so betrayed but as the audience I feel like we haven't really seen a single reason as to why. It just suddenly happens. As a character he is quite 1 dimensional and overpowered. (Also he kinda feels "abusive just for the shock value of it" but I digress)
No it's fine, for the most part he is a pretty one dimensional. For the most part I wrote the betrayal part as just a manipulative thing, to make it seem like it's more then it is to him. Although it was implied that more time had passed and at no point had their relationship progressed. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to flesh it out more or not when I was writing it as I wasn't certain I was 100% committed to a purely evil character. Thanks for writing it though, I like keeping logical growth and the like in mind. Even if a rare few will mention it or pay attention for it to matter, I always appreciate those that do :)
@@ShyDroidVA You are very cool and chill. I like that. The fact that time had passed yet their relationship didn't evolve (for better or for worse ) kinda threw me off. Also I love how I genuinely got manipulated by the whole betrayal thing and didn't see the thing as a manipulative tactic. Lol Although imo a character as overpowered as him shouldn't really need to manipulate anyone emotionally. 100% of any one character trait is boring. There's no room for surprise or flexibility or growth.
