A modern day balanced BF1942 would have been the 'perfection' of the formula. 15 years ago we had controllable battleship, subs, jeeps, tanks, plains, bombers. BF4 is the best BF out of 3, 4 and 1.

I miss these times in my life. This game was released during my freshman year of highschool. My child wasn’t born yet, my wife was a classmate who I’d never spoken to, my mind was so innocent. Watching squad up with Jack, Matt, and xfactor. I would never change where my life has taken me, but believe me when I would love to be 13 again so I could hop onto bf4 one more time. I hope everyone I played with on here, everyone I killed and was killed by, truly experiences life the way they want to and achieves everything you’ve always wanted. To my battlefield family, I love you all.

Even I can't look back at that gameplay, but only with the exception for the major improvements in UI, audio, gameplay controls, and visual levels that I would of had liked to be developed first in Battlefield 4 or even the previous Battlefield titles actually. There were good ideas, but sadly were not implemented successfully. But even then, BF4 still had unfinished free Community Expansion maps that were cut off short. So with that being said, there could of had been more to the experience of Battlefield 4.
Unethical Panda the worst thing about BF1 for me is the all round lack of content and customisation options. I get it, it’s WWI and they didn’t have laser sights etc, but it’s so dead and devoid of anything really interesting and cool, modern FPS shooters are so much deeper and more fun for this reason alone, and to me BF4 will always be leagues above BF1, so much so that I’ve uninstalled BF1 completely due to how boring it gets.
Hawk DA Bear I only replayed the campaign to get all the dog tags and points for trophies. I have 100 hours of gameplay on multiplayer from the last 4 years. I could jump on today and stay on for at least an hour by myself and have fun. Plus, you've got the free maps, and if you were lucky enough you got all the dlc's.

The BF4 was one of the most accomplished shooters content-wise. Gunplay was pretty good too. That's why I have hopes for the CTE TTK BF1 iteration :) and for the next BFBC3 hopefully.
If you want to know where the soundtrack comes from: it's from a swedish metal band called "corroded" and the songs name was "age of rage" but dice turned it into a techno version.

Pretty sure their next title with have a WW2 theme again. Going back to their roots. Codename eagle was a WW1 themed game. BF1942 was WW2. There was some Vietnam in between there but it sucked ass. BF2 was desert storm action. Then they made console games and ruined the franchise. BF3 was modern combat. Then out of nowhere they flopped with Hardline. BF4 was... err... Modern combat v2.0? Either way, we have come full circle so next one will most likely be WW2 again.
I love BF1 and play it alot, but BF4 has a special place on my heart and still play it a ton. So much variety in vehicle (tanks, jets, helis) and the gun customization and specifications are unmatched in any game ever made. The gun personalization wins it for me.

I love BF1 and play it alot, but BF4 has a special place on my heart and still play it a ton. So much variety in vehicle (tanks, jets, helis) and the gun customization and specifications are unmatched in any game ever made. The gun personalization wins it for me.

I can't get on bf3 on Xbox one with its backwards compatibility that it advertises load game up and it says activate account and I've not been able to do it. And Xbox support ? Don't even go there Back to bf1 on PS4 to lay in a ditch all round
