- Just a fun little fanvid showcasing The Mighty Boosh!! Clips of Noel Fielding, Julian Barratt, Dave Brown, Mike Fielding, Rich Fulcher, and Richard Ayoade from various sources- none of which belong to me. Music by Robin Thicke.
omg! the clips are hilarious!
Ohhhhhhh, you're a clever one. I like you. I can see that you won't let the meanies get you down. Keep up the good work!
omg! NICE, I LOVE THIS, WELL DONE! TY
LOL!!! I know they do! I couldn't stand Hall and Oates until I saw Bob Fossil dancing and not going "for that" in the 3rd series. I had to download it! That song still makes me laugh every time I hear it.
Amazing video!
Thanks!!! The "you're the hottest bitch in this place" lyric coupled with the image of Rich Fulcher in drag was NO accident. I makes me laugh every time I watch it. hahaha
Thank you!! =D
I loved it :)
Thank you! =D
Ok. Well thank you for your comments. I guess I was hoping it would be viewed as fun/funny. I didn't intend to speak out against women by using this song. Please give Noel and Julian my apologies. I didn't mean to offend them, either.
Hate the song, love the vid.
To be honest, I didn't think that far into it. It was my intention to make something lite-hearted & fun. Two LOVELY things about the Boosh tho...they don't take themselves too seriously, and appear to be very humble. They don't seem the type to turn their noses up at a fan's creativity, especially if that fan's heart is in the right place. But then again, I don't know them personally so I'm not sure I could speculate on what they would or wouldn't appreciate.
Noel is very sweet and humble and kind, I got to chat with him for a quite a bit after attending his show (An Evening With Noel Fielding) in New York City. Although, there were other fans waiting to talk to him and his bodyguards were trying to get him into the car he took his time talking to my friend and took pictures with us and autographed his book (Mad Scribbling's for me). I had an injury to my ankle at that time and was using a cane which I dropped and was going to pick it up when he bent down and then handed it to me and asked me if I was Okay?
Nah, I didn't take you for a "meanie". :) You're obviously a fan of them as I am, and I wouldn't want to argue another persons passion for them. I would however go nutjob on anyone bashing them, tho. LOL! I adore them way too much to tolerate that noise. But I totally get fans who champion for them cause I would too! =D
A tremendous outlook, young lady! I could learn from you. If you feel like making another vid, check out a song called "The Moneymaker" by Rilo Kiley. Much better song, and I think of Noel every time I hear it. Cheers, mate!
I can't watch it on mine either. I've tried several times to fix it but it automatically resets back to "unavailable on mobile devises"...it must have some restriction that won't allow. Sorry. =(
i cant watch it on my mobile
Very cute! Hate the song. This proves that the Boosh can improve ANYTHING!! Well done!
I'm so sorry, I don't want to be discouraging because I do think you did such a good job with the flow of the visuals - they are fun and funny and constantly surprising. But that song...among other things, it promotes a rape-culture mindset and judges women as being 'good' or 'bad' based on their sexual availability. Both Noel and Julian take music very seriously and they are with strong, feminist-oriented women. Sorry to rant but I'm just really sick of music that insults and debases women.
Great job editing the visuals. Too bad you set them to a misogynistic piece of crap song. Sorry to be harsh but, what were you thinking? The Boosh are far from anti-woman and I don't think they would want to be associated with this song in any way.
Thank you!!! =)
