- This weeks video is Wosports Mini Trail Camera Review and Set Up, a very budget friendly trail camera that is easy to set up and use.
This is a very small trail camera making it very easy to conceal on your hunting property or on public land. the small camera takes excellent videos and pictures. The wosports camera uses only 4 AA batteries and a full size SD card. Its very budget friendly priced at around 36.00.

I always need to see the camera with the door open so I can see the LCD screen. I also need to see the back to see if a bungee cord will fit. Furthermore, I like at least a 15 second video. YOU saved me from buying something I wouldn't have been happy with because you took a few minutes to show ALL of those things, so thank you for this video!

This camera does not have wifi, so you need to have a card reader. you will need to take the sd card out of the camera and insert in the sd slot on your computer. I believe with an sd card reader you can plug that in your phone as long as it has the right kind of port.

Nice video and exactly what I needed to get this little cam operational. Hopefully I can get some closeup video of the bobcat that's prowling around my chicken lot. BTW formatting the SD card inside the camera is always a better idea than using a computer. IDKW but every once in awhile they won't match up when done separately. Now lets go make your swivel mount!
I say format, But I dont really format the card. I just delete the old files and reinsert the card in the camera.

Thank you for all your information… so far . I have no idea what to do next ? I’m going to install this on a tree . Now what ?? Am I able to look on my phone to what this trail cam views?? My I PAD ??? I there app to install that will let me do that ?? We don’t own a PC .

This camera does not work through wifi. So it does not send pics or video to your phone. You will need to go change the sd card every so often and view the card on your pc. Or you will need to purchase a card reader like this one ( amzn.to/3rCUaHV ) to use on your phone. Hope that helps.

How do I set my camera to take video ? All I can do is take pictures…….
I don't have this camera anymore so I cant look at it to tell you. (gave it to my grandson)
But as soon as you go into the menu one of the first options should be mode. either video, photo or photo/video. may say camera / video.
but I am sure I mentioned it in the video. just go through the video slow, it should say how.
I had this for 3 days it stopped working so the sent me a free one got it today tried it out it works so far.u have any issues.
I have not had any issues, I gave mine to my grandson though, he has never said he had any issues with it.

Thank you so much. I just received the camera. I just ordered a sd card because I thought it came with it. My quest is if I format the SD card in the camera, I won't have a problem playing it on my laptop? Also how do I format the card on my laptop? Thank you again!
Correct, you can format in either one, I prefer formatting on my laptop. There is lots of information on formatting SD cards, just google it.
I will also say I rarely format, Just stick the card in the camera and it should start working right out of the box.

Thank you, I just had the same problem. I seen you commented about my comment, and when I clicked on it it disappeared, thats weird.
I bought my first 4 trail cams last year, all cheapo's, all different brands to see what I like the best. They all worked fine and took good pics for the 4 months I had them up. Took them down in Nov, all working fine, replaced all batteries and was planning on hanging them all today, ended up hanging 3, the Wosport won't take pics. I can program it but once I switch it to on, it does nothing, no pics. Got what I paid for, will be replacing it with another brand. Checked out this video to see if I was doing something wrong, I wasn't.
Make sure to use the energizer lithium batteries. Some cameras wont even start up with the cheap batteries.

Those are nice pictures for such an inexpensive camera.
I agree Jack, I use to praise the Tasco cameras because they were so inexpensive. But for the same price this one takes much better pictures and videos.
Like the trail cam. Looks easy enough to use and only 4 AA batteries. Not bad.
Takes really nice video, I am waiting to see how long those 4 batteries last.

When setting it up, i can't tell if im in the 'date' mod or time mode ??
Sorry Grady if my video did not explain well. You may have to read in the manual about it. Or just play around with it a bit. I am sure you will get the hang of it.
How long did batteries last for you. I realize it will be different based on activity. If you could just give me a example. Thx.
I actually don't know, I gave this camera to my grandson after reviewing it.
I ordered a LY-121 from Amazon that hasn't arrived yet. I intend to use it to see who is sneaking into my house here in Jamaica. I've read that a red light blinks when it takes a shot. Is that in daytime mode as well, and if so can it be covered up so no one is aware of it? Thanks if you have time to answer this.
I have never noticed the red light, but I have never been near the camera at night time after set up. You should be able to cover it up if needed. just dont cover the LED lights or you wont have enough light to take night time pictures.

No, only cellular cameras work wireless.

Yes, I love the compact size.
I have two of these, both constantly corrupt the SD cards they are the reccomended SanDisk cards multiple cards. Very upsetting, both cameras do this randomly which defeats the whole purpose of putting them out. You may get your videos or you may not, just a waste of money.

I have 2 and neither of them work! I have followed the directions explicitly and they won't take pictures or hold the settings. This isn't my first rodeo with trail cams, I have several. Nothing but cheap Chinese JUNK !!!
