- This is a video on more info for 1UZ EGR delete. This specifically is done on a 1994 Lexus SC400 without traction control. Although it should be very similar for all 1992-1994 1UZ LS400 or SC400. I used the lextreme EGR delete kit for 1uzfe’s. I definitely recommend the kit as it had everything I needed and worked well for my setup. If you’re looking to do this on your car I hope the info in this video helps!

Great video bruh. That’s weird they changed it so many times over the course of the SC’s production life. My 1992 SC400 had an electronic actuated egr not vacuum like yours

What bell housing did you use to put the w 58 on? I'm getting ready to put a w 58 to my 1UZ. The setup is going into a 1979 Toyota Corolla te 31. Also what flywheel and clutch did you use? Clutch fork or hydraulic slave cylinder? I've been doing research and I'm seeing that Toyota MR2 flywheel works, 120 toot

I have a check engine light on my 94 ls400 and I ran the code and it says EGR system failure. So if I did an EGR delete would it get rid of the check engine light or would it stay on?
Not sure. Depends on what your issue with the egr system is.
What’s the air breather or filter that’s in the right side close to the back of the engine.
thats called a breather/catch filter i believe. Looks like he has that because he deleted the PCV valve and hoses.
Will this work on my 97 sc400? Or is it different for vvti engines
Yes it will work. 1997 is not a vvti engine though. Vvti didn’t start for Lexus and Toyota till about 1998. You may have some small differences but it’ll be mostly the same.
where did you put the resistor?
I didn’t put one! No need on 94’s
What’s the point in deleting the egr
Cleans up engine bay and removes hot exhaust gases from going back into the intake.
