I have a lot of books but after a 13 year wandering in the wilderness in a "Dark night of the soul" I am back and glad that I discovered Damien. Really great .. thanks
Lovely discussion. It seems when it comes to these sorts of topics there are many "flavors" or schools of thought, and can be a bit overwhelming. I recently became interested in Damien's magick work, even though ceremonial magick had never grabbed my attention in the past. My own "awakening" (as you put it) came through reading the Jane Roberts/Seth books. They rung true for me and struck a wonderful balance between science and magick. All of my personal experiences have come rather haphazardly and not through much training or discipline, which is why I've always been searching for answers to their source and purpose - Precognitive dreams, a few instances or clairvoyance, and a lot of waking (no drugs) energy visualization, usually taking the form of mandalas stretched between may hands. It would be wonderful to talk to someone knowledgeable about these sorts of things, perhaps one day.
this was an amazing interview, and very well presented. i'll probably have to watch it a few times, and take notes! -the interview could have easily gone on for another hour! this is my first time to your channel and i look forward to checking out more content. subscribed :)

That was fantastic! So many things covered, conforming so many thoughts I’ve had about “secret” knowledge and how throughout time things were expressed in the vernacular of the time. I really appreciate that Damien is sharing this knowledge, and specific techniques. The visualizations are powerful! I’ve had spiritual teachers in the past where some of this knowledge was given, but only by following “the master” and taking expensive classes, kinda cult- like. I also love that he encourages you to experiment by what feels right to you. Awesome!
Wow, Metatron and Sandalphon introduced their presence in my LBRP sequence some while back, before I ever encountered Damian Echols. I never read any of his books yet, but have taken in quite a few vids. Closing the Orb, of course. I sensed that myself after many years just working the circle. Oof da, Sorcerer's Apprentice experiences will be common with books hiding such firecrackers between their covers. Modern Magick has all the keys for a teen as I was to self initiate, make all the tools with all the flashing colors, do the rituals, and set the energy for all the stuff I encountered next including the OTO. It wasn't until the last few years I got the other angels signal to close the orb, not just cast a circle. I guess circles can keep out 2D monsters. Paper tigers? The dagger and cup should be able to deal with them. Balrogs and dragons? Close the orb!

so here is my ANGEL story. The most SIGNIFICANT synchronicity that i have had is the [[12-12 (December 12)]] one (at least in recentish memory) Basically, I had been watching over several days this journalist from I think the BBC who was doing a special about nomadic cultures . This was on YOU TUBE. I had already watched several of her episodes that took her all over the world to various nomadic herding cultures and the one that she was in in this particular episode was I think in Nepal?? and she had been invited into the tent of an elder (which was a sign of trust right?) and the older woman I think asked her about her wedding ring and this woman begins to tell the story about how her and her husbands wedding anniversary was on December 12th. BUT also that his PARENTS wedding anniversary was ALSO on December 12th and even his GRANDPARENTS wedding anniversary was on December 12th... so there was some significance she was related about 12-12... and as I watched her tell this story, I realized that I was WATCHING THIS PARTICULAR EPISODE and this story on ...... DECEMBER 12th.. I totally freaked out. I was like WTF??? NOT December 13th.. not December 11th.. but DECEMBER 12th.. as this woman keeps repeating December 12th. This is NOT some algorithm , right? No way it could have been cause it was an older show that was I believe filmed years earlier... I immediately looked up the significance of 12-12 and got some story about Angels looking out for me. Well long story short.. I couldnt' find any specific or significant meaning for myself .. just some vague "you are not along and are being watched over" stuff. I will admit, I got frustrated but that still stands out in my head. and NOW I understand .... that 12-12/1212/ is an Angel number. I wasn't too into this obviously back then.. but obviously.. something was communicating to me, Now I know what it was....
I have a question and I really need an answer before I can make any progress. Are these Archangels the same things as The Watchers? Cuz I don't want to evoke or invoke Watchers (book of Enoch, etc.). These conversations on metaphysics, magic and esotericism are good, but typically leave out the enormous African contributions. The Greeks learned from the African/Egyptian/Khemetic/Sudanese/Ethiopian peoples. Somehow this gets left out consistently. These teachings are Semitic and African in origin.
I think at the end of the day yes, all of humanity has this shared knowledge and it has been passed down through culture to culture. I understand the Semitic origin (via Judaism etc) but I am not schooled on much of African practices. Can you say more on how African religions are connected to Archangels?
My ancestry is primarily Scottish with a smattering of Scandinavian and other European with some Ashkenazi Judaism. I was born and raised with a very plain Episcopalian upbringing . A few years ago, as I was working to get back into some level of magickal/spell-working path, Rootworking/Hoodoo came across my path. I started to explore these practices and one group I was on made me feel incredibly unwelcome because I was "white" and European and was told that I could not practice "Hoodoo" cause that wasn't my "culture". I only am bringing this up because honestly, at the end of the day we are humans, trying to become enlightened and work with these "Spirits" and energies and understand things. We need to evolve past all this division. Yes, there was a lot of crap that happened in the past and there will be karmic retribution but let us work to heal. Peace.
I was literally thinking the same thing. No judgment here I was just wondering. I do believe that the eyes are a window to the soul. So, I desire to see the eyes, especially when learning something new.
@@KingTateGreene He experienced damage to his sight while in prison due to lack of natural sunlight and likely lack of accommodation - how our eyes focus in and out based on distance. If you're inside all of the time, that muscle doesn't get worked. If you don't use it, you lose it!
