      A lot of these young men eventually go to NFL, so you get luxury of seeing them develop. Warren Moon, Theisman, Flutie started out. But it’s not bush league, or colledge by any means. IT’s Canadian rules professional football. It is a smaller league in teams and population, but game is not small. We have snoozers too, bad calls, too many flags, but when it’s good, it’s really good

      I’m actually a Colts fan. I remember first seeing Chad play in 2019 for the Colts. That was the year Andrew Luck retired. He started a few preseason games. I just remember thinking how similar he looked to Andrew playing the game. So I was very disappointed when the Colts decided to anoint Jacoby Brissett as the starter for the season. So it’s great to see him succeed in the CFL..I’m sure his phone will be ringing next year from the NFL. I can definitely see him getting a starting gig.

    That pass over the middle was NOT a catch! Torontos bend but don’t break defense last night turned into break and bend. Kelly showed that he losses it when he’s frustrated but as a sign of maturity he was able to get his composure back and the special teams bailed them out. Great game! I was yelling at the tv! Lol😂

      No… and I say this with love. I grew up in Canada. Been to McMahon stadium dozens of times. Watched Flutie and Smith live in their prime. CFL is entertaining. Then you get to go to an NFL game and you realize the truth… it’s just. Bigger. Faster. Louder. More talent in the NFL… And again, I’m not a CFL hater.

      Brian you are so right, but Canadians seems to love all things American, our football brand is a lot better than theirs, I believe that the National government should find a way to open it up to our youth, thats why we have C B C, it should be shown free of individual cost, Let them pay for U S football.

    • @FischerFan
      @FischerFan ปีที่แล้ว

      You're both wrong. It has nothing do with American content. It's because the leagues showcasing the best players draw the biggest audiences. It's human nature.

      @@josephtemple1667 Right. And they had a huge stadium which was difficult to sell out, so almost all if not all of the home games weren't televised. So, you could only watch half of the season. I remember being in Edmonton when the West Final was playing and it was blacked out. Even a playoff game, which was ridiculous.
      And in Saskatchewan they blacked out the whole province. At the time I lived about a five hour drive to Regina and couldn't watch home games.
