Im open to listening to all points of views and weight the evidences. I absolutely disagree with those who want to force a khilafa or sharia in. I think Khilafa is a miracle not possible without divine intervention and only Prophets can establish them...Dacid, Muhammad, Jesus. Men who try to do it end up destroying the society. The reason is they dont have convincing power (aka miracles) like prophets do.
One man came to prophet Mohamed Pbuh to complain about one of his neighbour,Prophet Pbuh said take all staff and sit in front of house, when people ask you why are you get out from your house? said “ my neighbour inflicted me and causes me to get out my house” when he did that all people starting talking about the bad neighbour, at end he come to him and said please come back to your home I will stop all bad things that I have done to you. So sometimes putting pressure on culprits might cause to stop the crime they are doing.
Let’s be honest. The main people who say ‘boycott’ is haram, or ‘protests’ are haram, are those who also preach absolute obedience to the ‘rulers’. These people are typically called the madkhali cult, or the pseudo-salafi. The ONLY reason they say these things are haram because these are things which could affect their ‘masters/rulers/lords’ power and wealth. They are always afraid that if they say protests are halal, then one day people might ‘protest’ against their beloved taghuts and despots. I mean, you have scholars being jailed in KSA and other gulf nations just for calling haram as haram. It makes a lot of sense. Protest for saving our brothers and sisters in Palestine, it is haram because of ‘free mixing’. But bikini competitions and music concerts, those are defended by saying ‘it’s only a mistake, leaders can have mistakes’.
They say anyone who dissagrees with them is pseudo-salafi, as well lol. I say all wahabi salafi movement is rotten from the start. Even shaikh AlKalbani, imam Makkah admitted it. For decades they spread sectarianism and divided the Ummah, it;s time that movement to go to the garbage of history
You are right about boycott and partially about protest. But protesting along with people in public involves free mixing and may involve musical instruments and so one might consider not attending.

Is it not said in islam, "when you see and injustice, stop it with 1 of 3, the hands, if your not able to with your hands then your mouth, and if not the mouth then the heart, and the heart is the least of the 3" Something along those lines,
Madkhalis say, if you try to stop with your hands, you are kharji, if you try with your tongue, you are deviant. Just do with the heart, this is best, and remember, always obey the ruler
It's authentic hadith, that when you see an evil, stop it physically, if you are unable to do then speak against, if you cannot do this then at least hate that evil in your heart. And this the weakest of iman. And Allah knows best
These so called scholars (mainly based in the KSA) are not preaching so islam would prevail but so their rulers and kings would prevail no matter what they do.
Lol, ya akheel kareem, he knows what protest means, but they are ahlul hawā. They do this to mislead the unsuspecting Muslims. This is why one needs proper or basic knowledge of Islam to identify the deception of this kind of acclaimed scholars. He said the prophet was telling the quraish, "You can't worship idol! You can't worship idol." Look at the deception and lie against the prophet of Allah, عليه السلام. The prophet that received the revelation "no compulsion in religion " would never use the verb "can't" for other people's worship. هدانا الله و إياهم
This is about following our desires. Do not conflate demonstrstions with other forms of halal protest. No person of knowledge would allow or attend such demonstrations. Any claim otherwise is a lie. All classical scholars would not permit such things.
The classical scholars probably would if they lived in 2024, they had absolutely no idea what the future Ummah would experience. Moreover, what is our prime directive as Muslims when we witness munkar, I'll let you fill in the blanks.
There is a faction that is adamant on protesting being haram and they prohibit it because these protests rarely happen except with the haram elements included. But in any case, blanket prohibition of protests, raises a generation to do inkaar of others based on incomplete information and deficient understanding on a topic, and we have seen this plenty of times.
The faction that are adamant that it is haram, are those afraid that one day people ‘might’ protest against their ‘rulers’ and taghuts. Most of these people who are adamant it’s haram are living in the gulf nations. They don’t even say anything Israel, or anything in support for Palestine, because they are not allowed to.

Greetings from Mali. The way I see it is that large political protests are part of ijtihad (use- your-brain) of modern methods akin to opinion press and other ways of saying No to injustice and despotism. Despotic rulers would definitely favor scholars who insist any type of protest is haram. I’ve been searching to see if there is a deep wisdom (to keep peace and unity, to avoid fitnat etc..) behind preventing public protests but did find anything. In fact, to me It makes all the sens that if I am going to do the Nahy anil munkar with my thong in public where I can be heard and that I if know that by myself I will be crushed then I would want to do it in groups. Now if « the salaf did not do it » but the Quran and Hadith did not say not to do it…. In fact both said to prevent/stop the evil/injustice then maybe they did not do our type of modern public protest only because it wasn’t known or necessary for impact in their time. Today you can enjoin good and stop evil by your hand through writing news paper editorials or opinion articles. Is that halal or haram? Did «the salaf do it » ? No. They could not have done it simply because it was not there. The 3 levels hand, thong and heart to stop the evil are protest. The salaf with stronger iman were practicing the first level always ready to strike at injustice instead of spending much time on saying « no » e.g., Abdullah Ibn Zubair etc.. Modern protests is commensurate with the second level .. stopping evil «with your thong» by going out and saying in public in whatever légal manner possible. The Third level and the weakest in faith is of course preferred by the rulers …is stopping evil with «your heart» that is, you can hate it but stay silent.

Yes this isn’t what you want to hear but many of the major scholars said protesting Is haram, what you think or feels right according to you doesn’t matter, islam isn’t here to align with your opinions. Additionally I advise you to fear Allah, why are you encouraging Muslims to participate in sin with all the music and freemixing that occurs in a protest, it might get you whatever gain here but Allah will hold you accountable for everyone who justified protesting with this video. Really think about it, is it appropriate for our women to go around screaming in protests, for us to blast music and freemix, is this how we support our burgers and sisters? May Allah guide us all.
So you saYInG we should only make dua to Allah SWT. If I have an exam coming up, do I study or only make dua? You know the Hadith about tying the camel then leaving the camel in Allah’s hands right? Show me which scholars said the act of protesting is haram, when we know prophets and Sahabah protested. Ibn Taymiyyah protested.

Of course I am referring to Quran Kareem
That is about preaching, protesting is about attempting to change evil.
Try to be smarter next time
O Ummah of broken hearts!
Keep calm!
For the scorching fire of Hell
Will not die out
Like the fires from the piercing bullets
The treacherous grenades
And the murderous bombs, of the cruel oppressors
And glad tidings for the Martyrs
Who are surely 'Alive'
Indeed the everlasting blaze of Hell
Awaits in anticipation
Those who oppress Humanity
And where Death is no more
There is no Escape
O Ummah of broken hearts!
Keep calm!
For the gardens of Eden
Where the rivers flow
And the gentle breeze, cause the trees to rustle
In the sweetest melody
Under the shade of the glorious Throne
Will abide forever
Those who are patient, grateful and compassionate
And love and help each other
For the sake of Allah
O Ummah of broken hearts!
Keep calm!
For there will be no pain, or loss or sorrow in Paradise
But peace and joy and everlasting love
And most precious of all
The pleasure of Ar-Rahman, our merciful Lord
O Allah!
Please have mercy on thy creation
Guide all mankind to the path to Paradise
And save Humanity from the path to Hell
For the sake of thy most beloved Prophet ﷺ
Surely if the tyrants knew the Truth
They would not be oppressors
Indeed it's not the eyes that do not see
But the hearts that are blind
O Ummah of broken hearts
Keep calm!
I looked at Gaza from the window of my heart
And saw the destruction of precious lives
Flattened homes and shattered dreams
But when my gaze fell upon the sorrowfull eyes
I saw the overwhelming calm
And acceptance of God's decree
The people here were true believers
Valiant, courageous, resilient and faithful
But when I turned to look the other way
There was utter despondency and fear
For these people had waged a war against Allah
The most powerful and Just
Lord of the Worlds
Then I looked towards the Muslim leaders
But they had sand in their eyes
And their hands were tied
As the Ummah awakens
O Allah free Palestine!
HasbunAllahu wa nimal wakeel
Saying protests aren't a part of Islam because the Salafs didn't do it is like saying school is haram because it didn't exist back then.
Now I'm not saying that protests are or are not haram but if that's the reason then I find it quite unconvincing, the issues of free mixing and music are a different story though.
Yet again he's a scholar and I'm an ignorant person so I don't want to come across like I know better, I don't.
Ittaqillah ya ikhwani, Who do u think you are to slander Sh Assim and the scholars, The people of Bid'ah take things out of context and leave the scholars just like you. Fear Allah and delete your video.
This is the way!
Sh Assem's views rises from pacifying Muslims from rising against all these regimes especially Baghi family Sauds. So forget about evidences, for there are many evidence regarding accounting as long as the means and styles are not haram.
May Allah reward u Sheikh, I always have petty on these kind of ulema who have sold themselves to the regime .
May Allah protect u and reward you, u are speaking on the topics that other Ulema have neglected .
Children of the silk curtains
O children of the silk curtains
With bright shining eyes
When you reach the garden
Please convey our salaam
To the guardian of infants
With the flowing white beard
Surrounded by angels
O children of the silk curtains
Innocent and pure
When you reach the garden
Please convey our salaam
To our prophet Ibraheem
Whilst the celestial nurturers await to hold you
O children of the silk curtains
With the cheeky smiles
No fault of yours that you were martyred
But Allah wanted that you play in heaven
So when you reach the blessed garden
Remember to convey our salaam
To the guardian of infants
For our hearts are bleeding
And your sweet memories
Will forever remain
And Palestine one day
Will be Free...
Like the Quran says if you see oppression fight it with your hands if you can't fight it with your tongue and if you still can't then fight it with your heart and protesting is still an important part of the struggle therfor it is still jihad therfor those who say it's haram to do that might be in majority those who follow corrupted leaders meaning they picked the side of Ibliss may they think about it who would Ibliss try to corrupt first his best targets? It's not too hard to see it cause even humans with bad intentions go to people with power to corrupt them cause horrible people know if they get to the leaders they will immediatly get an army of people who follow these leaders in their own ignorance meaning Ibliss doesn't really have a lot to do to get to us HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO GET TO US TO GET TO US he just needs to corrupt popular leaders to get to us and it's frightning to see how easy it is to cause chaos now another thing if Moses himself didn't listen to Pharaoh and his army then why should we listen to the unfair? Why would Allah even help Moses peace be upon him against the unfair like He helped so many? He also helped us while many of us don't even aknowledge His existance astaghfiroullah i hope what i said can help people to figure things out cause i know that protesting can hurt a country can make us go backward slow things down and annoy people but know one thing if we don't struggle OUR CIVILIZATION CAN BE DESTROYED AS A PUNISHMENT AND WE WOULD ONLY HAVE OURSELVES TO BLAME anyways thanks for reading through this painfully long comment and keep your face up no matter how bad things seem
The madkhali psuedo-salafi manhaj is:
If you see evil, change by your hand: then you are khariji
If you see evil, change by your tongue: then you are deviant and want to cause fitnah
If you see evil, change by your heart and this is the lowest of iman: yes, this is the best way. Pray in the masjid or your home, don't talk about islam or politics. And always remember, obey your rulers.

The question would be are protests saving lives in Gaza? I would say definitely not. Why would we do something that doesn’t benefit us? Boycott actually works and I would do that too.
What are you talking about?
Boycott also don't save lives.
Protests are not helping Palestinians? Prove that. Protests are the only thing that are making leaders everywhere speaking up. If there were no protests, and the whole world is silent, you think that would the same or better?
Salaf also did not fly a airplane ✈️ also haram. You can demonstrate and use the powers we get these days. Protesting is more united and an example of what it is to be a Ummah.
So totally incorrect. Unity means freemixing which is haram so unity as a whole is haram. And there is no “ummah”. This “ummah” has Shias, asharis, Sufis, muttabarijats, dayouths, etc. it will only be false unity

mashalah very well explained. I agree with everything you said❤. may Allah swt reward u brother 😊 and free palestine 🇵🇸
They put dawa table with books so my question did prophet Muhammad do that ?
This guy is a Saudi funded imam. This type of imam always toes the Saudi line.
There is more abt Mr. Assim - in one of his videos he said that our prophet (pbuh) called the meat of cows poison for us. I never found any reference of such hadith.
I asked a scholar as well.
If there is no such hadith, then what does that make Mr.Assim?
Should any muslim even listen to this man?
Take the good from him, leave the rest. This is the best way. Like the scholars of Saudi, take the good from them, stay away from anything they say related to ‘rulers’ or politics.
May Allah bless you brother I totally agree
The way I see it ONLY MADKHALIYA ARE AGAINST PROTESTS.

To not mimic the kuffar thats why we dont protest because the quraish did it, or not?
thanks sheikh for prooving my thought about protest against ruler was done by the sahabah and the prophet saws
If you think about it, nearly every Prophet of Allah SWT protested in some way against the people and customs of his time. Lut AS protested against his people for a particular sin. Ibrahim AS protested against idol worship.
@@-------....___ you are right bro thats why i was really shocked when i heard saudi sheikh saying protesting against ruler was haram while at the same time palestine were being massacred
@@saibouaboubakar9888 a Saudi ‘shaykh’ also said if the ‘ruler’ makes Zina on live TV for 30 minutes whilst drinking alcohol, you cannot say a word against him. These ‘scholars’ that do the dirty work for their masters are despicable.
Even sheikh Alwan and the scholars in support of protesting said it is only permissible when the Islamic conditions are met, like no music or free mixing etc. even by his fatwa these protests in the west are haram.
Additionally the first people to do something similar to a protest were the Khawarij, why would you imitate them. Protests is not something we Muslims do it’s not appropriate for us to do it.
When you are protesting your begging the government to do something, isn’t it better to beg Allah instead? We have hours to spend at protests to beg governments but 10 minutes for a dua is too much, and then you look down on the person who does dua and come back from the protest like you’ve done something when all your have done is gain sin.
Support our burgers
so you are too afraid to involve in politics???
So you saYInG we should only make dua to Allah SWT. If I have an exam coming up, do I study or only make dua? You know the Hadith about tying the camel then leaving the camel in Allah’s hands right? Show me which scholars said the act of protesting is haram, when we know prophets and Sahabah protested. Ibn Taymiyyah protested.

if the reasoning for protests/demonstrations being haraam is "well, the Prophet (saw) and sahaaba never did it," cool. then using the internet, driving cars, using phones is also haraam, since there's absolutely zero chance they ever used these things also

First of all, this Sheikh is trying to Correct another Sheikh who he sees him as if he is wrong, but the unfortunate is that He ( This Sheikh) insulted Biden how can you insult some one when you are acting as if you are a great sheikh. Does Islam allow its followers to insult anyone? No.
Second, when you speak to anyone Calm down no shouting, that is not the way Islamic scholars talk to others. Quran 15:88 ( And lower your wing [i.e., show kindness] to the believers.)
Third, According to my knowledge in Islam. Today’s demonstration that happens in western counties has no basis in Islam . And Muslims should not participate it all. Today, We all know Israelis are killing Palestinians, should Muslims demonstrate or Fight against killers?
Fourth, When a muslim try to stop a bad action which a person or a government wants to do , he/she is Warner and vice verse he/she is bearer of good news . He/she is not a demonstrator. Allaah knows the Best.
Well for one I'm not Salafi, and I'm under no obligation accept the sheikhs position, respectfully. Try to peacefully ask for more rights or even send an email criticizing MBS and you might just end up under the sword. This is position of dictators, the biggest fear of the gulf rulers are two words Islamic democracy. They would rather see the genocide of the Palestinians than support their movement for democracy and true freedom. Let's not forget, MBS cannot wait to establish diplomatic and normal relations with Zionism, let that sink in. Moreover, what is our prime directive as Muslims when we see munkar? Consult the Salaf?, let's get real
