It's weird that the parents would want to sleep in the master bedroom. It's the most private area of the home. I understand why it made the couple uncomfortable knowing the parents slept there the first time. But that's when I would have first changed the locks, without saying anything. That is a stupid thing for parents to get mad about. It's your house, your bedroom, and they have a room that you let them use in your house.

Change locks or add a lock to your bedroom door. Then when or if you talk to them again, tell them don't sleep in our bed anymore or don't come over again. I know it's harsh since they're your parents, but they should have known from the get go, it's weird. It's your house and they're treating like it's theirs and the audacity to not talk to somebody because of that. How are their parents, they're children 😒
