I went for RCT of my lower 3 teeth…injection hurts a bit but manageable…after that some pain is there when they remove inflammed pulp during RCT. But I think pain is more due to fear…so after 7 years I started feeling hot/cold sensation in those teeth and some swelling in gum…
I visited dentist and my RCT tooth were infected…first RCT not done properly was the reason given
Going for re-RCT…
Make sure dentist who do RCT know his job
Also don’t go for RCT in rush…if doctor is saying I will do RCT of 3 teeth in one go…say no..only one tooth at a time…it is a work of patience and not hurry…
If tooth is infected tell doc to put antibiotics 2-3 times if needed and see if infection is over before putting permanent filling…
Infected teeth may hurt during RCT as anesthesia do not work if tooth is more infected
Re-RCT is costly and also mentally traumatic.
All this from my experience

absolutely right ..my dentist (MF, BC) did the RCT in very hurry .. I'm facing severe tooth ache.. just after 2 days of the procedure... but I can't do much ...bcz of financial burden... may he loses his job soon... or an animal bite his fingers

RCT is a good source of income for so many people. Caps are simply ceramic but they charges huge amount.
What makes you feel that the charges of the RCT were "a bit high"????? were you not informed about the treatment cost before the procedure started????? it is a procedure that saves a tooth from extraction and obviously alleviates your symptoms also..... also the job done by the dentist has to be respected and the price is for that only..... furthermore, just like any other treatment, the cost of the treatment will vary from dentist to dentist..... there is no fixed price for a ceramic cap and it can range from 3000 to 20000, because ceramic caps are of two types- metal ceramic and all ceramic, the latter being costlie

5-6 doctor ko bta chuka hu sabhi experiment hi krte hai... proper dignos abhi tak nahi hua..do daato ke bich ke gum par pressure aane se gum pain hone lgta hai.. kya karan hai kisi ko pta nahi chla

In the first sitting of my RCT to remove the infection drilling has done, but the drilling was very deep . The drill bit entered beyond pulp area,very painful. It was on teeth No. 21. Upper left. Now the teeth pain became left side head ache .

I liked the fact you explained how dental diseases are not self healing. Only medications do not suffice. Medications are given by your dentist only to minimize the infection and pain. But the pain and infection may come back to haunt you time and again, if you don't get the right treatment at the right time.
The key to avoid a root canal treatment is to get preventive dental treatments done by your dentist. Preventive dental treatments like teeth cleaning every 6 months and getting your teeth checked for cavities and get them filled at the right time. Yes you can save all the painful dental procedures with simple preventive measures. You can avoid it all. Try it.

Dr. mai aajkal RCT kara rahi hu.. Dr. ne 1st day ijection lagakar kiya.. doosri aur teesri sitting mai wo injection nahi de rahi hai..kya ye sahi hai.. mujhe dard hota hai..daant front ke neeche ke hai.. thank you 🙏
Ma'am injection is given in first sitting mostly, but if it is unbearable pain then we might inject in further sitting.

When I visited my dentist , he found cavity on two molars and suggested filling. I got that but my upper jaw ( gums too) hurt whenever I eat something. Is it natural after a month of the treatment?

Hello mam, I had six month back RCT on my left last tooh. But now days i facing two small ulcer on my gums at same place where RCT occurred. I took infection medicine Reactin 100mg & moxycilin 500 mg. But no cure. It is not paining. Pls advise 🙏

Yes, beacuse if you eat before then because of anaesthetia you may have chances to bite your cheek. Wait till the anaesthetia power gets normal.
