I'm from TN, I watched the movie in DD on night. Not from beginning, when I was changing channel I watched from middle and watched till end. I can't stop crying at climax. And next to me my mom was sleeping. I was holding my mouth and cried silently. This one is a true gem. I don't understand hindi that much. But I felt the film.
And what about Illeana? It was her First Hindi film... If you recall she plays a character that ages from early 20s to 40s to 70s so effortlessly. I was greatly impressed by her performance. She is an actor who needs more recognition and better films and roles..

Ranbir Kapoor is the only actor in bollywood today who can make viewers feel his acting. he can connect so well with the audience. IMO he is the best in bollywood today. No one comes close. Yea there are others too like Nawazuddin, Ranvir singh, and many others. But Ranbir is at the top. His dialogue delivery expression acting everything comes naturally, he doesn't even make any effort. That's what makes him the best.

I still remember, literally crying even after the movie was finished...Really touched by the chemistry, love, emotion between Ranbir and Priyanka, acting level beyond par of Ranbir (though was deaf and dumb) and Priyanka.. not to forgot to mention about lleana as well, she performed well.. I wish I could see this type of movie these days.. miss those days..
