I remember a mandolin that Jake made with some kind of acoustic reverb made with internal baffles. Maybe 25 years later my memory is failing, but I remember it being really cool.
Aloha, HMS! As always, thank you for the outstanding material that you bring to us - watching and listening to you all brings much light and happiness into my life! :-) I’m really glad that I caught this episode, too, because I didn’t know that Brittni had released a new song - can’t wait to download it! Btw, is Brittni still teaching Skype lessons?
Chelle Heart Ukulele Music Hey! Thank you so much for your support!! I am still teaching Skype lessons, however, I don’t have any available time slots at the moment. I’ll post on my website and social media as soon as I have availability. 😊
Thank you so much for your reply and for the information about your lessons, Brittni! I am super grateful! I will definitely keep an eye on your website and social media - I would love to have the wonderful opportunity to have your guidance and support with my ukulele music! Mahalo and many, many happy strums!!! :-)
Corey, I am wondering if you can address the scents given off by different woods and finishes. If I am allergic to a deluxe Koa Kamaka because of the finish, and a mahogany Romero, would there be much off-gassing or smell from the finishes of koa Kanile’a or the koa aNueNue? Thanks.
But seriously, I'm not sure. The Kamaka is nitro and the Romero is poly. Any brand new finish needs some time to gas off. But smells can also come from the glues used in cases. It's hard to say what you would be sensitive to but the Kanile'a doesn't seem to have any finish scent. aNueNue has a scent but it's not a chemical finish smell, more of a fresh scent.
Hello Andrew, Brittni, Corey and Kalei, thanks for showing and demonstrating these new Ukes. 🌺 Have got two questions : 1. Is this Kumi with the soundsystem chargeable as the Leolani Tenor ones you have in the shop. Have got one from you which can be loaded via USB (and I Love it 😊😊) This Kumi system looks a little more practical. and 2. Will you get some AnueNue Soprano Koa in your shop again! I am looking for it, but its hard to get. ... At least I had to mention that these Kanilea Ukes you show us at the beginning are looking very awesome. So nice Instruments. Wish you a nice week, take care and be blessed from Germany , Bettina.... oh... and Brittni, congratulations to your new AnueNue UKE... looks and sounds pretty especially with the UKE Logic Strings!!!!
26:43 Oh, I thought the anuenue bird series all have the same Mount Fuji X bracing.

Does Leiolai Trans require batteries? What type and how many batteries?
Just heard on the podcast it has a lithium battery. 47:40 :)
@@kathyplaza9883 Yep charges from the end jack into a usb :)
It would be cool if you could index the time for each ukulele and model number you feature in your video

If Corey was playing it, it might smell like ramen.

This new pickup system charges from the end jack into a USB. We will get more koa aNueNue. Mahalo!
@@HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS thanks for answering... this makes charging very easy - like charging a Misi-pickup but with/over USB 🌺 Mahalo Nui! Bettina.
will the Anuenue be available in a concert size? or soprano?
Yeah we've had the 3K in soprano and concert before. Will get more in the future. Mahalo.
Andrew, I have been buying from you since 2006, and as much as I love them all, that Kanile’a pineapple might be “the one”. We need to chat 😁
