  • Hyundai Creta the Ideal SUV? My Sincere Opinion!
Are you considering buying the brand-new Hyundai Creta for 2024? I walk you through a thorough assessment of this much awaited SUV in this video, covering everything from its performance and driving characteristics to its gorgeous design and jam-packed cabin.
I'll give you my honest opinion on whether the 2024 Creta is worth the hype and whether buying one is the best option for you.
The 2024 Creta adopts a bolder, more modern look, shedding its former skin. Sleek LED DRLs that blend in perfectly with the headlights surround the cascading grille, a defining feature of Hyundai design. The updated headlights have an assertive, crisper appearance, and the taillights follow suit. The Creta's overall silhouette gains some dynamism from its freshly designed alloy wheels.
For the 2024 Creta, Hyundai provides a variety of colour options so that customers can customise their selection. From the traditional Polar White to the eye-catching Fiery Red, every colour option balances the strong design language to make the Creta stand out on the road. Subtle dimensional adjustments give the 2024 Creta a slightly more expansive appearance than its predecessor.
Entering the 2024 Creta, one notices a notable change from the previous iteration. The cabin has a sophisticated design layout, soft-touch surfaces, and high-quality materials. The new infotainment system, which features an easy-to-use interface on a sizable touchscreen (discuss screen size), is the focal point. Convenient access to phone calls, music, and navigation is ensured by the system's smooth integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
With a variety of engine options, the 2024 Creta meets a wide range of driving needs. With a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that balances everyday performance and fuel efficiency, the base model offers (mention power and torque). The 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine gives for a more vigorous driving experience for those who want a little more power. Last but not least, the 1.5-liter diesel engine delivers great mileage estimates while satisfying those who prioritise fuel efficiency (note power and torque).
The 2024 Creta is a desirable alternative in the compact SUV market since it has a competitive starting price (mention starting price). The Creta is a really good deal when you take into account its dramatic exterior, spacious cabin, variety of engine options, and cutting-edge safety systems. The ultimate choice is contingent upon personal preferences and needs, though. To find out if the Creta is the right car for you, compare it to other models in the same market class, keeping in mind aspects like cargo space, driving characteristics, and fuel efficiency.
Honda Elevate, a compact SUV, is finally introduced in India. By 2030, Honda wants to introduce five further SUVs in India, with this one being the first. In Honda India's range, the Elevate sits above the Amaze.
The Honda Elevate has a brash and powerful appearance. A massive grille with a substantial chrome surround dominates the front fascia. The LED headlights provide a sleek, swept-back appearance. Strong shoulder lines and massive 16-inch alloy wheels define the side profile. LED taillights and a twin exhaust system are featured on the back.
The Honda Elevate's cabin is roomy and nicely furnished. The dashboard has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and is tastefully designed. Digital and analogue dials are combined in the instrument cluster. The seats are supportive and cosy. Both front and rear passengers have plenty of headroom and legroom in the Elevate.
Performance and fuel economy are well-balanced in the Elevate. It has a top speed of 170 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds. Additionally, the Elevate achieves fuel economy ratings of 15.31 km/l in the city and 16.92 km/l on the highway.
The riding quality of the Honda Elevate is smooth. It absorbs potholes and bumps well. The suspension is calibrated nicely and provides a good compromise between comfort and handling. In constrained locations, the Elevate is very simple to manoeuvre. A subcompact SUV with a superb blend of performance, fuel economy, features, and safety is the Honda Elevate. It is a terrific option for those seeking a sleek, useful SUV at a reasonable price.
Compared to the Kushaq and Taigun, the Elevate has a longer wheelbase and a wider stance, giving passengers greater leg and shoulder room. Additionally, it offers a bigger boot space. The Elevate offers better value for money because to its somewhat reduced pricing compared to the Kushaq and Taigun.

After buying the N Line top model, I was shocked to learn that the window and mirror buttons do not get illuminated at night. Only the driver window button is illuminated. At such a high price, this basic feature is missing and it is very important in emergencies. One can't keep fidling at night to search for the buttons..Also the android auto feature is not wireless and does not mirror fully the screen of your phone. You can't run maps other than Google maps on the screen.

I just bought new creta one month back, top model automatic..you nailed in the negative points..except for the design of central console, its very easy and good to use, its extremely pratical to use. For safety rating, I feel it will score 4 stars bcoz previous generation has 3 star and they have updated the exoskeleton(use of high strength steel is a bit more) plus it comes with alot of safety features as standard. So GNCAP or BNCAP me in sab standard safety features ke bhi point hote hai toh iske points pehle wali se jyada hi aayenge, obviously ..

Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back.
The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me. please let me know its a known issues or not.
I have no wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name.
I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range.
I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in June 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.

The GV also boasts excellent performance and a silent cabin, but its extremely high price and lack of boot capacity will make you second guess yourself. The Toyota borrowed hybrid system operates incredibly well in terms of the switch; you hardly notice it at all.

For hills, you need more torque, Elevate will not suffice. You can try Diesel/ Turbo Variants of any of the above cars. If you rarely go to mountains, all would be decent- Decide on basis of how you feel in the car and you driving style. For example, Elevate might have a very slightly better engine and better cornering, but you may not like it for the cabin noise.

I think interiors of kia seltos is much better than creta...in creta there is not much of soft touch element in dash board...honda elevte interior is old fashioned ..not flashy it has less piano black elements and chromes in interior...but any way it looks premium..it give a cozzy feeling in cabin and u dont get bored by its interior....i have an elevate...and checked all brand in its segmnt before buyin...thoroughly happy with it.....undertgigh support is lackin in every car in the segment ...and in elevate also its abit concern for person above 6;feet

Surprisingly, you missed out on a very important point......mileage!!
My 2018 Creta automatic NA gives a poor mileage of 9-9.5 kmpl in Gurgaon city? Highway, its about 13 kmpl. I understand Elevate gives much better mileage?
Moreover I find the Instrument/ Infotainment cluster & new design as very tacky, not elegant at all. I also dont care much for panoramic sunroof which is a waste in North india due to weather, pollution etc!
So should I go in for new Creta or Elevate?

      I agree with your points.
If features do not attract you and you want better driving feel and performance go for elevate

I have elevate zx cvt. considering your usage I would suggest Elevate - It is giving me 12 in city and 16-18 on highway.

Its a great car I have the SX tech manual. Clutch to my liking is good, maybe the reason is that I upgraded from a diesel manual. Its butter smooth. I enjoy it everytime I drive. I cancelled Elevate booking as soon as I took a test drive of the New Creta. Except the NA engine everything else is better in Creta. Nevertheless Creta's engine is also proven and trustworthy. The design of Elevate looks too bland to me, it's not a great looking car either. Creta looks much better.

Design is subjective. For those who likes front grill and boxy presence Elevate will certainly be preferred.
Anyways how much did SX Tech Diesel variant cost? Compared to Petrol what would you recommend?

@@shubhovir I bought the petrol variant and it costs around 18 lakh approx in Chandigarh. I would recommend the petrol variant if your running is low.
