I had the honour of having a bop with Scarlett ( the singer on the right ) at Romain Axisas live gig in Brighton a few weeks ago, dam she can sing!!!!!
Recorded in a Brighton bar called Bar Valentino--a 1920's speakeasy styled venue.
Ren Stans all say "This isn't a mix, it was live" without realising the incredible work of whoever mixed the live feeds into this beauty!
It's live but still mixed. Like every Live Concert is^^ (some postproduction like echo and stuff is added though). "Whoever" most likely is Ren himself^^
It took 10 days from having the idea to final product, Not bad!
It's a total vibe. I hope Ren does more of this type of collaboration and style. Their voices work so well together.

Bar Valentino in Brighton. For those who don’t know Brighton, it’s in New Road. From the balcony you can literally overlook the spot where he busked a lot with the Big Push. I tried to convince them to do a balcony gig, I can only hope! Another well known Brighton musician (Passenger who did the Let Her Go hit) basked on New Road a few years back and a couple of years ago Hozier made an appearance too ❤

The last few lines in particular are so silky smooth, like melted chocolate, it does funny things to my stomach. Although Ren could sing the phone book & I'd be entranced 🫣 He makes me feel like a giddy teenager again tbh despite the fact that I'm almost old enough to be his mum 😅

You seemed to completely miss that Ren was singing with the backing singers, from the moment they came in. I'm surprised at how many people miss this. Especially as Ren's voice is doing more than the other two...

I'll never understand why we "non live" viewers have to be bothered by the "chat" on the screen. I subscribed to you earlier at some point, so I must like you. But that stuff? Ick. ZERO interest in that aspect.
Maybe because it would mean he'd have to produce and edit a whole new video. It's a lot of work, especially after going live on that same song for however long it was. Live streams usually go on a lot longer than pre recorded and edited videos.
