Honestly, with how much I keep hearing about how these Jordan 5s are inspired by ww2 fighter jets, I am surprised they haven’t made a colorway that actually looks like a fighter jet man. Like imagine if they release a black pair of Jordan 5 that has an actual picture of those shark heads you see on fighter planes, the number 23 printed in that blocky military font and a dogtag with MJ’s information on it to tie in the fighter jet theme. That would be sick.

I’m definitely into blue Jordan’s my favorite color. Yes I’d take these and a host of non OG colorways over OG colorways. Most OG colorways I get just for the hype or nostalgia. New colors I’m all for them. Great review as always you’re the best!!!

You can tell Nightwing absolutely LOVES Jordan Brand BUT they keep disappointing him and us as well by being greedy and just dropping slaw ass colorways (slaw means whack in Memphis slang) and its pissing him off lol…he’s holding them to the Jordan standard they SHOULD be and I respect that. Keep your foot on their neck brother, salute you all and how much you put into bringing us this golden content. Best channel for sneaks on TH-cam HANDS DOWN.

Everytime I say I need to take a pause on grabbing shoes, they come up with something like this. These babies are NICE and the fact that 5s are my favorite makes it even better. Great vid, as always.

The material on them though looks really dope....give you that classic feel even though they not the original color for the 5s

Just copped. Switching the laces with white, Yankee fitted and some cargo shorts or khakis. It's on. Theses are fire. Don't sleep on them.

So I starting collecting like 7 months ago. I have like 20 pairs now of dunks and jordans. I want jordan 1 through 13. I didn't have any fives. And I refuse to pay resell for anything ever. So I grabbed these. I didn't pay attention to jordans when I was young the the toe shape doesn't bug me. Got these in the mail yesterday and I really like them and actually 5s are now probably in my top 3 retro jordans so far . Thanks for the video. Always check your channel for a shoe before I buy
Personally I disagree with the review as being a "throw away" shoe. I actually like these. If I fail at getting the Jordan 4 Craft olive green then I might backtrack for these.

I ended up scooping up a pair of the Craft 5s as soon as Chris dropped the review for them. I feel they're a lot more comfortable than regular 5s and the toe box stays looking pristine no matter how much you bend the toes. Weird they don't refer to these as part of the Craft line since they've done multiple Craft versions of 1's (lows and mids) and 3's.
Maybe they are dropping the Craft name since most sit.

Sometimes the reflector throws the 5 off and sometimes it accents the shoe and puts it on another level. I would’ve went with reflector on this one and I’m not too thrilled about the 3m material but I love the colorway so I copped
I like the colorway man, they clean to me and can be matched to almost all colors.
These remind me of the Navy Hellcat Fighter... Ive not seen a pair that captured the fighter plane vibe at all until now.
I just copped these and although the materials aren't the best but they look fire on feet especially wit a blue Yankee fit.
These have a unique look to them that will cause me to buy them.

I don't buy J's as much anymore but I really like these. I am getting a few pair.
Being a graduate of the US Naval Academy I’m totally happy with calling these “Navy” and not Georgetown 😊

I like them, bought them, thought they were the college pack. Probably going to return, and buy them on sale now. I wear Oreo 5 pretty regularly at this point. Put creme laces on them and they look bad ass.

StockX has them listed as Georgetown so that likely means at some point in their development they were called that. They probably just didn't want to pay the university. Nice work Jodi.
The mock ups were the real G-towns, Not these things! Not by far, Nike/JB failed hard on this one

Earlier this year I saw them on news sites listed as Gtown. Thats why I bought them, why else would they do a full size run?

In the light the shoe looked like the box with the reflection shinning on that material
I also want that one over an OG colorway. OG colorway I don’t care about them, if I like the shoe I like the shoe. It doesn’t need to have Nike air on the back of the heel. And I think this shoe is one of the most comfortable shoe from the Jordan 5’s

When it comes to 5s i prefer only the ones with the reflective tongue. Its not bc its an og feature but it just looks nicer imo. I had the midnight aka oreo and alt belair but i couldn't bc I didnt like the puffy tongues. I love my khalids bc of how slim the back is and that includes the slimmer tongue. Looking forward to copping the AMM 5s during thanksgiving week.
These will go well with some of my ohio sports teams, Cleveland guardians and the aaa team the clippers, also the Columbus blue jackets

They are nice, but like you said nowhere near as cool as an OG pair like the fire reds IMO. I got my fire red 2020 for 130 brand new!

Completely agree with your criticism of Nike and Jordan brand moving to zero programme my bro... it's just a lot of hot hair and pointless silhouettes releasing without the involvement from sneakerheads or the culture that this is what they wanted. The UK sneaker stores have so many Nike silhouettes setting on shelves, they will end up on sale at 40 to 50 percent discount. Everyone is holding on to their money. The future is going to be about store exclusives and collabs, this will revive the industry in some way.
Did anyone else find the canvas toe requiring more time to break in? I wore these for a little bit and the toe box rubbed the top of my toes to the point of a blister. Hoping it just breaks in over time.

I like these but those UNC 5s are wayyy better. Although I don’t mind the Craft Series. This Navy color is neutral and goes with almost everything bc of the black in there. Cop at a sale discount price but ain’t paying FULL retail on these.
