1965 Reimagined with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur - Australia’s first 911, 55 years on

Two Porsche Exclusive models have been created to celebrate 55 years since the very first Porsche 911 was sold in Australia. The original Australian 911, sold in 1965, is the inspiration for two identical and very special 911 Carrera S type 992 models, available via Porsche Centre Melbourne and Porsche Centre Sydney South.

Such a low effort from the marketing department!!
I don't see any parallel between these two cars beyond both being Porsches... not even matching colors..
Any buyer could spec out from the standard configuration something similar and skip on the "Reimagined edition" tax

It's too bad the first one in Australia was such a boring spec and consequently the 992 is about as milk toast as you could make it look. I get nostalgia but c'mon Porsche at least paint to sample the grey if you're going that route.

Crayon, Agave Leather, PSE, Carrera Classics and Chrome window trim. This is the lowest effort special I've ever seen. It's not even PTS. It's not even a manual. 1965 reimagined? Right. Cynical AF.
