You make that look so easy! Maybe not for me though, since I don't have a lift or those handy tools. I wish there were a garage that would let a customer use their vehicle lifts, but apparently lawyers & insurance companies have made that impossible these days for liability reasons. Still, I reckon I could do the work, but it sure wouldn't be as easy. Nice video, I like the clarity & simplicity!
There is an easier way to remove the clip holding the ball joint in place. Remove the disk brake splash shield and there is a slot that allows you to remove the clip with a pin punch and hammer.

By far the simplest approach I've seen thus far on YT. I love the fact that you avoid having to remove the whole spindle. Thanks for sharing!
Simple, Clear and Concise - exactly the information I am looking for to do this job on my 2013 Dodge Charger. Thank You!
My front end sounds so much better thanks thanks to you! Way to go.

Great video! If you didn't have an air hammer could you have used an a regular hammer to tap on the socket to get the ball joint in there?
+Marcus Darnell Thanks for watching! You certainly can, just be sure to use a block of wood on the stud so you do not mushroom it.
I like ur videos but no way I could remove the ball joint without that type of equipment
The best short cut way. Thanks! now I know.🙂
If you have a lift then this is easy, if you don’t have a lift it’s a bit of a pain and that’s what I had to do unfortunately.
excellent presentation! love the tips and details.
Looks so easy , great video
Would this be the same process for a 2013 Dodge Dart ?
Excellent video and Thank you
What if I don’t have an air chisel? It looks like that would be hard to do by hand. (Taking about the part after he used the C clamp)
Great videos helped out a lot
Hey, thanks. Now what if I dont have a lift and I dont have the room to remove the ball joint. Guess ill just take off the entire spindle.
Just take e tires off and put the car on some jack stands
Damn I want an air hammer!!!!!!
