Very nice run as always. I really like this fight with gl especialy when i manage to redirection then reverse blast dash through the tail slam into tail swipe !!
it was a little annoying to get use to at first. i thought most of his moves he can just do at random, but i found alot of his patterns enjoyable once i found them out. chasing him down during his hops as well is pretty fun.
Wow so impressive i feel Like i wanna learn gunlance and longsword more then doddle Horn and Charge Blade now but i keep switching hehe. Also very nice Skill what do You Main?
gunlance isn't too bad. as long as you're comfy with redirection timing and reverse blase dash inputs, it's a pretty chill weapon. and glaive and gunlance for mains
This may sound like a very dumb question, but how much would you have lost if you slotted in quick breath somehow, so you could have more up-time for reverse dashes? I mean, I know it depends if you keep getting afflicted with Ice Blight and at that point would just reset, but if that is the case how useful would it be in a speedrunning scenario?
it's not a dumb question. i really didn't have the room to put much of anything else on the set. gunlance in ta wiki is unfortunately very costly with skills. i don't think it would that necessary, the slower wirebug charge didn't effect the performance too much. plus i get back half a wirebug everytime i do a redirection so that was also helping
it's not TAS, ta wiki is Time Attack Wiki. it's a speedrunning category different from freestyle which cuts out alot of stuff like flashbombs, dogs and cats, most endemic life, qurio augs, traps, etc. it's pretty much just your weapon and the monster. it's typically just to show off your monster and weapon knowledge. i like it cause it's more challenging and interesting than freestyle imo.
