- Did the first sea trail with the coble, She does 8.5knots flat out with two people on her and gear, I am Happy with that. She Criuses nice around 5-5.5knots at less that half throttle which is perfect for what I need for the inshore stuff. After doing the sea trail I seen a few bits I need to tweak but she is pretty much ready to go. It's a great little set up for the inshore stuff.
So need to get these few bits done and hopefully she will be ready to go and bring you all along for the mini adventurea

Great boat with fantastic sea keeping qualities! I owned one for around 30 years and there were lots of them over here on the North East coast. The boat is a Pebble Coble (not a Triton Coble) and were built in Hornsea. I would recommend a tiller extension so that your body is bit further forward when you are out on your own. This will drop the bow a little bit for you. Fantastic boat that will serve you well👍
@@SteveHeighton-o6m thank you Steve, it's good to hear about them. I might get an extension and give it a try it's a great boat the more I use it the more I love it handles amazing easy to control when coming in to the slipway etc and it's very stable.

My little orkney only does 8 knots, after that it just cavitates but plenty fast enough for messing around inshore.
I think it's 16ft but not actually messured it yet. It's fast enough for the inshore stuff definitely. Can't wait to get out in a month or so early mornings on the bass

I had a couple of bass last night on sea trout lures, first on lures this year, loads on bait all year, they literally switched on to lures overnight as i fish same areas most evenings when conditions are right for 6 weeks now for trout and not touched any until last night. Im looking forward to tiny boat tope in a few weeks 🤣
It's 16,6 transom to bow tip so it's 16ft.
Thats good fishing I need to hook a fish again it's been way too long
