J'ai repris mes cours de chant depuis le 13 septembre , je révise Caro mio ben , vaga luna , amor e morte , dolente immagine , di provenza il mar il sol , per me guinto ( don carlo ) il poveretto ect -- ect ---ect . C'est tres dur mais c'est un plaisir depuis 2003 , je ne connais rien au solfége , j'écoute et je reproduit , Bonne nuit a tous , le chant c'est une bonne thérapie .

Oh, rammenta pur nel duol - ch'ivi gioia a te brillò; E che pace colà sol - su te splendere ancor può. Dio mi guidò! Ah! il tuo vecchio genitor - tu non sai quanto soffrì Te lontano, di squallor il suo tetto si coprì Ma se alfin ti trovo ancor, - se in me speme non fallì, Se la voce dell'onor - in te appien non ammuti, Dio m'esaudì!
Dat kan toch Renato Bruson niet zijn? Maar wie is hij dan wel? Een bariton met een grote stem die er flink op duwt en zich bekaf zingt met een kunstmatig, vervelend vibrato. De stem heeft veel mogelijkheden, is mooi gekleurd maar wordt niet lyrisch gebruikt.
It sounds like Bruson, but very very late in his wonderful career... he is not longe capable of sing any of the indications written in the score, and that is a real pity. He was a great singer.
It's not a vibrato but a "ballamento vocale", coming probably from very very old age. You should listen to the very same singer 20 or 30 years before :)
