Wonderful video, brother!! This was truly the best SBN yet. I love all of the detailed shots you got of the reflections off the water, the moss, leaves, and lichen macro shots, all while having continuous audio in the background to not break up the ambient focus. And that intro with Bill will be a scene that I will cherish forever. Keep up the amazing work, man!

The cows were a pleasant surprise! 🤣 Bill is Samuel's uncle. He and his wife met us on the Sheltowee Trace to bring us our resupplies on our Thru-hike. Best aunt and uncle outside my family 🥰

The first 2 sections so far haven't been the best for camping. We got lucky this time, and last year, we had permission to stay on someone's farm. The Mammoth Cave section should have nice camping options! You know camp isn't complete without a great steak! Thanks for watching buddy!

Awesome video, brother! I'm so glad you used the scene with Bill as the opening shot. I absolutely love it, haha. You really upped your composition game with this one. There are so many good shots: the many reflection shots (especially the one with the drips from your paddle), the pink flowers at lunchtime, the herons (you nailed these!), the spider, the cow that almost kicked Samuel 😳. The steaks on the fire have me licking my chops, and I love that campfire/morning transition! Good music choices too. This is definitely one of your best, and I'm glad this trip has been preserved so well for us to enjoy for a long time.

Thanks buddy! We knew that we were on a cattle farm, but didn't think they'd come down. That was definitely a fun surprise 😆. Steaks were sourced from kroger not the trail 🤣

Helluva cruise...WHERE did the cows come from??
🤣🤣🤣 We were on a cow farm. Most of the two sections we've done so far, go through local farms. It's not for many more miles till we enter the Mammoth Cave National Park area.

Is it common to see wild cows on this river?
Nah! The majority of the river runs through farmland. The beach we found was on the back side of a farm. We had hiked up the night before to check and didn't see a thing! We were quite surprised!
Awesome video!!! I’ve been wanting to float the entire Green River system. I’ve floated from Middleburg dam to the Lake and The Dam to Greensburg. Dam to the Ohio river is my next goal.
