As a Michigan native and Detroit sports fan, this was the moment when i changed my tune about the Lions. I used to enjoy seeing them fail out of entertainment, but these two speeches showed me they really cared and wanted to change the culture. Everything that’s happened after has been magical to watch.
For an old, gettin' close to the end, 50+ year Lion fan, this gives me one last ray of hope. Our talent isn't on par with the better teams, but this group might make them know, when they play us, that they've been in a battle. i remember when i saw this vid 2 years ago i knew immediately he was the best leader of men in the league. its insane to me how he missed coach of the year last year and im saying that as a texans fan. dans hiring completely changed the franchise, i wish he would come back to texas and coach my cowboys since they need him but im happy hes tearing it up in detroit, i hope detroit enjoys that texas style of coaching too.
