Shaun, i figured something out. I guess the problem on that gimbal tilting up after rocket shot in descent. Is based on the tracking. Why? Because I tried tracking the ground, not me or the person, the gimbal now never tilts up upon descent. Since the active track cannot track the person above 15meters ish, the gimbal is like having a hard time where to track. Just my guess. I have tried it after watchingn your video.
Thank you shaun for testing it out. I hope dji will check on it. Some users fixed the issue after updating its firmware to the latest, but mine did not (read it on the comments in this video). Did all the stuffs dji had told me. Refresh firmware, calibrate gimbal and IMU, but the issue persist. Anyway, as long as the quickshot is done without interruption, still usable. Thank you so much shaun again. Safe flight. To more videos! Cheers! 🍻
Many thanks for your comment and yes, some say there is fixed and us, it's still the same? I'm sure there will be another update to sort out any other bugs - many thanks for watching
Thanks for the video Shaun. I had watched Kev Roberts', and other videos about this gimbal problem with the Mini 4 Pro and RC-2 also, so I checked mine. I hadn't updated it in a while, with all the problems showing up, so it was on Aircraft Firmware 01.00.0700, so I had it do a rocket. Sure enough, the gimbal pointed up. So I did the update to V01.00.0800 and did another test, and it's fixed! Yay! Thanks Shaun!
Many thanks for your comment and good to know it's on a later update but I did mine with the latest update and still the same even with the DJI RCN2 latest update??? Not a problem but interesting test - hope DJI are watching Gary
I haven't flown the Mini 4 Pro in awhile, I have been busy with the Air 3s. Sorry your have trouble with the Rocket quickshots, I hope they get it sorted out with the next update. Insteresing that it only happens with the DJI RC 2 controller. Thanks for sharing.
Great tests!! I like to watch Kevin. He is very entertaining and informative. Lots of times on what not to do. 😅 and that is always good to know! 🐾🐈⬛👍👏🍻
Heck yea, man. That was a great demo. It’s funny how that camera does that. It’s almost like the mini 4 pro gets confused easily like me. Haha. Oh, and your excuse for using auto RTH is my logic, also. Being lazy is fun! lol.
Quick glance at the video it seems its dependent in how close the drone is to you when your start the rocked as to how far down the gimble needs to point down. When it goes to its limit is where it flips up coming down. Try doing test closer, then further away see if its is the issue.
Many thanks for your comment and I did try this, DJI RCN2 wouldn't let me fly close for the rocket and some say this has been fixed with the update and some like me, has this problem. Many thanks for watching
❤Great video Shaun, very informative. I have a similar problem with my Mini 3 Pro where when your increasing altitude the gimbal starts to slowly move downwards. It’s definitely a software issue so I have to counteract it with the gimbal wheel which is annoying. I was hoping an update would fix it but it’s still there for the time being and no idea how to resolve it 😊
@@shaunthedrone I went on a long journey today found a way south around the airport block zone and got some unreal shots of Guatemala City. I just have tons of footage and a macbook air 8gb ram and have a new macbook pro m4 48gb ram back in FL to have someone bring or I'm almost at end of visa anyway. Until then, I need a video editor. Have you already tried to recalibrate the gimbal? Seems like it is trying to move further than it can. Just curious what happens when you manually rotate gimbal to -90 degrees? Does it show it is at 90 degrees? Anyway I love your videos and cant wait to find out what you find out.
I be honest I didn't try to calibrate the gimbal but others have tried that and still the same problem. Some have said the problem has been fixed and some like me, not. Many thanks for watching
Hi shaun, and thanks for posting this video. After updating my M4P to V01.00.0800, the gimbal started to slowly tilt down on the left side before takeoff. I have made gimbal calibration automatically and manually, but the same problem comes back again before taking off. I don’t know if any one got the same problem?
The update cleared an issue I had, and now I have a new issue with quick transfer on my android phone. My home wifi keeps disconnecting while transferring photos and videos, and wifi simbal even dissappears from screen. Everything else that is connected to the house wifi is working completely fine. Tried the quick transfer on a tablet and was also doing the same thing. Never had an issue before like this ! 😢
Be great to hear from anybody else that has noted any problems with the latest firmware update for the DJI Mini 4 Pro

@@Moto_GeeTee could be right as it does say near the end it's looking to track
I will just skip the latest update, and wait for the next one...

Hi Trevor, I'm hoping you mean your Mini 4 Pro and not the Mini 3 Pro? DJI have stopped doing updates on the 3 Pro now. Many thanks for watching.
@ Unfortunately I did mean the M3P. I might try and factory reset it when the M5P comes out or if I get any more impatient the M4P lol.
Thanks Shaun

@@kev_999 well done Kev, I use Final Cut Pro, once you pay, it's for life even with the updates - good luck with the editing
I think that the RCN2 update was the fact that they made it compatible with the Neo

You don't have to wait. I just fly up 7 metres and fly straight forward and whatever direction, and it lands directly where I took off

@shaunthedrone yes after thinking more...if the gimbal only does that after the automated missions then it would be a programming issue...
