Geek Alert ‼️ we got this system for the Ozark mountains in northern Arkansas for a home. We were told we cannot get cell phone service on the property 14 acres. They were right, but we had a small area outside on AT&T service about 12 download and 4 upload. We got the system that was in the video plus 4 Yagi directional antennas for the roof and hooked up to an AT&T tower and now we have over 100 download and 25 upload. Thanks Izzy, you are awesome!

I've been using my Cheetah for months in a pretty rural area. Tmobile is about all you can reliably get there but, I'm not doing more than 50-60 down with the big, Waveform antenna. Hopefully Tmobile's new purchased spectrum will be implemented here soon. But, for $35 a month, it does what I need. Hey, when you're living in God's country, you need to enjoy the important things first!
I reached out to Chester Tech Repairs and found them to be very responsive and helpful. BTW - I tried Izzy's electrical tape on the door of our motorcoach and took an annoying squeak away. As always - thank you for the great content you produce.

I’m using AT&T ($83/mo) and T-Mobile ($50/mo) because I live in the country and not many options. When we travel, I bring my AT&T nighthawk along and leave T-Mobile at home for security system. If I lived 6-7 miles closer to town, I’d have 400+ with T-Mobile. So close but yet so far!
When you say you can bring in an unlimited prepaid plan, is that just going to the store and getting a prepaid unlimited card and the SIM card to match the service? Just confused on how to do this the prepaid route.. thanks

If you are asking if you can use the antenna in the Winegard to connect to these with external connections, then yes i believe you can use the 2 that are are up there and connect 2 of the 4 available on the device. Theres a video that shows someone connecting to the wifi cable, but you could do same with the other 2 for cell. Youll need adapters and cables of course.
My T-Mobile home internet with waveform mimo antenna gets the same speeds for 59.00 a month router included. Without waveform antenna 249.00 Wi-Fi not usable. The power is in the antenna!

purchasing a 2025 thor compass already with a Winegard antenna (obviously money spent). so, does this work in conjunction, standalone only,? Storing the rv, to prevent theft, I'll be taking the unit out to my house. Is that a problem? I use T-Mobile. Any suggestions, directions folks?

My monthly with T-Mobile is $30. I also have my cell phone with them now because the home internet is so good. The only thing I found better over the years was overpriced Fibre optic.
You buy the router modem box and you pay your cell phone company your monthly activation for sim card. I don't have this box I have a cudy 5g wifi6 and I have a family cell service plan with t-mobile I took one of the Sims out of one of the phones and put it in the cudy sim modem

Sounds like he’s just using a regular cell phone SIM card. But usually AT&T knows what kind of equipment you have you sim card in. So Chester must make the imei in the device show as a cell phone. Just my guess.

They keep shutting it off because they can. For no reason. They shut it off. Yet. Doing so. It affects the whole town. No using a debit card anywhere. Although. Information is stopped. Unless you have expensive satellite. Cellphone towers never go off. Just the cable plus internet. Would a system work for me? Here at this house. The closest cell tower is just over 2 miles away.
Is the 'unlimited' plan you talk about really unlimited? Virtually every plan you describe available at retail has data caps then throttling occurs. Please clarify. The only way around it that I know of is the virtual sims acquired by routers from TravlFi, HomeFi and SwiftNet.

As far as unlimited you need to know how the router works and Chester repair will explain it to you and also he offers plans at Chester repair or you can look at what plans work with the router and that I think is all unlimited plans, and order them for yourself but you really need to understand the router before you order. Essentially it treats the hotspot like a phone, so it doesnt use "hotspot data" I know ATT phone data plans are unlimited with no throttling. @@daveclark3165
Try to use the wan port on that thing without disabling wifi (like in a failover environment)…. Overall it is stable when not on TMo SA though. Sold mine, went with an invisagig and gl spitz combo for multi failover.
There is no unlimited hotspot plains any more you have to hack the modem to tell it it's a cellphone to trick the wireless company use to just change the ttl settings but the cell company's figured that one out

However......T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon home internet are not available options in our area. Is there another way to get a SIM card for an unlimited plan from one of those carriers?? All this is new to us. We've been using a Verizon jetpack that I use for work to get internet while camping but I'd love to find another more permanent option (plus I don't want to get in trouble with work). I have a 2023 Newmar BayStar 3014. It was already set up with Satellite and then Wineguard routers in and out also. Not sure if you have tried their Wineguard Freedom Go plan at first to see how it worked… but is that a good option to use, since it is already installed? Also I was hoping to use it but was wondering if there was an unlimited data plan out there with all three carriers. Example I went to mesquite Nevada and I have Verizon… the RV resort had poor Wi-Fi service and they also had a block… as they were right next to an apartment complex. So my Verizon wouldn’t work well and we had to use their spotty Wi-Fi.
So what's the cost for using a setup like this for home use? I have zero options for internet where i live outside of cell data. And the local power company wont have high speed in my area for two years. I had an unlimited hotspot, but my plan changed and now I'm data capped. 1. What's the total monthly cost to you for the data? 2. Can these modems be added to current multi line plans? I'm at my wits end just trying to find an internet solution

Very informative, as always!! We almost, exclusively, boondock out in tne national forest or in the desert on BLM lands. So, no coverage out there.

Never Used Wineguard but from what i read its pretty bad.

Change your title miss leading. Just an item for cellular. Not really an internet stand alone items. when there is no signal that’s thing don’t work. Just another junk when you go camping in the woods.
Please tell me what “item” will work in the woods with “no signal”?
Its a sad situation when rving becomes boring and we have to resort to internet to keep us entertained.
For many it’s more than entertainment
I work on the road and don’t want to spend the money on hotels. I travel with my rv and live in it. Many people do the same so that is the reason for needing internet.
Work from home, school, security, content creating, and of course a good horror movie when your boondocking
