@lizrichman9812 Yes, I thought about the owner's life and times, as well. Wondered what she wore with some of the jewelry, how she looked. From the length of some of the necklaces, I'm guessing the good lady was relatively tall.
I wondered how life was for her, a military wife moving from assigned area to assigned area. It was a rewarding and caring life, I hope. I hope buyers enjoy her selections they purchase and wear them with gratitude for her taste.
Jewelry flashed by so fast, I reset play back to 75% and that was even too fast at times. But to go slower might have taken all day.
I enjoyed this very much, Caroline. It brought back many memories of my jewelry, Mother's and even my grandmothers' jewelry from decades ago.
Thanks for taking on this challenge of showing us this very extensive quantity of colorful, sparkling treasures from a woman's life. An impressive task, and an impressive collection!

Wow Caroline! Unbelievable that somebody could have that amount of jewellery. I found it fascinating wondering how that lady managed to wear so much in her lifetime. Her family photos would tell a few stories. Very interesting xx

Really enjoyed seeing all the old jewellery, I am 80 yrs old and some of it I remember wearing. Will look forward to seeing the next box.

Hi Caroline you did such a lovely respectful presentation. I thought some of the pieces were almost from the 1920's. So pretty and so reflective of the lady who sadly passed.

Wow Caroline, that was a marathon !! That lady must have had a very busy social life ! I think there is enough there to wear a different set every day. There were some really nice things too, and kept in good condition. Looking forward to the next box. haha. ❤❤❤
I have the A-Team music replaying around my brain now 😆that took me back to the 80s. Those rope necklaces reminded me of the necklaces that you would find in Avon catalogues back in the day. Some fabulous pieces though. Thanks for the memories Caroline.

I really enjoyed watching all the old jewellery it is so interesting. Brooches are very popular with ladies that embrace vintage and rockerbilly fashion, especially those who enjoy fitted cardigans.
I have that same box too ,the pearl necklace from Harrods matching the bracelet came up as well.The box was from Rome and l still have it and use it for my tiny tiny earring .Unbelievable.
I loved watching the this one Caroline it reminds me of my grandmother .
As I don't wear fashion jewellery myself it must be good stuff because it hasn't tarnished over the yyrs .

What a wonderful haul. I particularly liked the very first gold necklace and the pink dangle diamond earrings.

I used to be a counter manager for Adrian Mann jewellery back in the mid eighties, it was similarly to Monet. A lot of that jewellery gave me Adrian Mann vibes!! Oh the memories 🤩

How fascinating - would love to know how some of these were styled. The clip on earrings are great for evening shoe decorations - if people even wear evening shoes anymore! Brooches are certainly not something I have ever worn (and I'm 77), but definitely something my Nan used to wear. I do remember a funny thing about her - she used to wear this big cameo brooch, to hold the front of her dress together, and the weight of it on the lighter material used to make it flop forward. She played whist everyday and used to smoke, and she would be concentrating on the game, with the ciggie in the mouth, and the ash would fall into the brooch! She would empty it whenever there was a break in play! I have the brooch now.

Loved this! I love brooches. I wear my grandmother's brooches on my jackets & sweaters. She had so many & I love the memories that they bring me. She never dressed without wearing one.

Lovely collection of jewellery,keep your eye out for the numbers 925,that means the item is silver,,,,I wear brooches i have a collection of 60,,cheap one to expensive ones,every coat has one on it,love my brooches,the best I found in charity shop was a silver one with a big green stone in the middle,,
well I enjoyed that Caroline, I hope we get to see the next lot, you should ask Lex to watch your video to see if she can spot anything of value and don't forget to look for any names on the backs of the pieces

I enjoyed that Caroline. I've just taken loads of jewellery to the charity shop including lots of beaded necklaces I taught myself to make during lockdown. I'm sure your jewellery will sell well.

... and I wear brooches (am 56) I like to put them on my scarves to keep a shape, or create a pseudo poncho 😊

Enjoyed this very much. Think we weren’t so wary of wearing bright colours back in the day. Not in trend now but some of the colourful items were just so bright and cheerful, brought a smile to my face. Thank you.
Great haul Caroline. The first Pierre Cardin set (collar Necklace). I have here. They were my mother's. She lived in Oman for the last 20 years of her life.

Loved this Caroline 🙂 My mother-in-law has a similar collection of costume jewellery though not the same quantity........she's 92 this year and still wears a pair of clip-on earrings to match her clothes when she goes shopping with my hubby each week 😊
Thank you for showing this. I’d really be in my element sorting through it. I have bought a few job lots on eBay , purely for my own fun. My grandmother loved beads . When she died in 1980 my mum and I reckoned there were enough to stretch from Lands End to John O’ Groats😂 . Broaches are quite in fashion again. You have some nice pieces there.

There are some lovely delicate pieces in there. If there are any earrings that have lost it's partner or anything that might be damaged, they might be of interest to crafts people to use for decoration. I would love to see the rest of this ladies collection.
That was interesting. It made me feel like I should de-clutter my bits and pieces. I do wear brooches, but they tend to be mostly vintage plastic. I have them pinned to jackets and coats so they do get an outing.

I did enjoy that. A mixed bunch but generally nice stuff and in good condition. Will keep you busy for a while but there are enough pretty things that should sell. I’m assuming you have all the props to display the jewelry. Should be fun😀

Hi Caroline. Loved looking at all the jewellery from the eighties when I was in my 20s. Brought back lots of memories. I still wear brooches on some of my coats. I would be interested in the tortoise/turtle brooch if you are selling it. X
She must have spent a fortune on her sparkles. My vice has been videos then dvd ,I shudder when I think how much I have spent on them, most watched once, like she probably wore once. Thanks for this surprise.😊
