Taking the IMCA Northern SportMod to Merced Speedway for my first laps ever on a Dirt Track!

- I finally make my dirt track racing debut. It was "Hall of Fame Night" at Merced Speedway, so I hauled the IMCA Northern SportMod to the track for a shakedown of both car and driver. I was slow, REALLY slow, but I learned a lot and I now know some of what I need to do to be more comfortable in the car.

Congrats on the first run. Couple tips while your learning. Make sure you hold your line. The harder you drive a sport mod the better it will handle. Lots of rear brake. Get a shock that will hold the right front down. It will help the turn. Best of luck to you.

What was the official telling you or explaining?
He told me my transponder was mounted in a bad spot on the car and wasn't reading correctly. And they tried to tell me on the Raceceiver but I had it on the wrong channel lol. Rookie problems.
