Absolutely love the "Real-World Test" series David! Have seen almost all the videos in this series & since I love Coffee, every time I get it, be it in a cafe or buying beans from a shop, only one line echos in my mind "First things first, Coffee ✅" 😄

That's my neighbourhood! I go to the yellow bagel shop, and always have their Smoked salmon and cream cheese.. Delicious! The phone looks nice, but if I was thinking of getting one, I'd wait for the 2nd gen.
Bloopers at the beginning would be a nice change

Great review as always; London is as beautiful as ever - and i also never miss a trip around Shoreditch when in town, it is now almost completely gentrified (for better or worse). I am also glad to see more foldables, the more the merrier! I was actually impressed by the images shot on the Pixel 7 Pro, they seem to stand out from all the others (even with a bluish WB). May I ask what hotel that was? I normally stay in a different area, would not mind trying that one next time.

The N2 for me, is a nicer design than the Flip4, and I'm sure Oppo will eventually make the front screen more usable, otherwise it seems pointless and perhaps expensive having it.
If anything, the camera (rear facing/main ones), would be my sticking point, especially since I have migrated over to the Pixel 'style'.
But I do love the flip phone form factor, so if the images were similar or even 'better' than the Pixel 'style', then I think might be able to put up with the below average battery life by carrying a smallish battery pack to get me through a day.

Great form-factor on Flip, and the CoverScreen is "just" a software issue, BUT it's Made in China, so there is that. From seeing your images, on first viewing, ALL seemed to be better on the Flip. Shame N2Fold didn't make it out of the Homeland! I won't be buying one yet, until your review actually says "Get It", cos my Xperia 1 iv is fresh out of the box & GREAT! That camera really struggles at nighttime or at low light, I even checked if I am watching this in high quality, but nope, the graininess still stays on. Love the grainy surface finish, on the other hand ;) Crease is still there, but indeed - less pronounced. 3:05 - cool art. 3:19 - a total fall on the face between those 4 phones. None can decide how much teal or how much blue there is supposed to be on the truck, and how green the parking spots are supposed to be. Phone-killer test found ? 3:34 - love the microphone quality here

I found out on my N2 Flip if I take a selfie on the cover screen, the photo is mirrored. I changed it in the settings. When I take a selfie on the big screen the photo is correct. But on the cover screen with phone closed it is mirrored. Does anybody know how to solve this?
In all the reviews I've watched, I've not seen anything showing that you can make calls from the front screen without opening the phone. Is this something that can be done on the global version?? Please let me know!

Hey David, great video as always. But I'm not sure if it's just me or something, but on some parts of the video where you're showing photo samples, the bg music is WAY TOO LOUD
On to the phone itself, this is a prime example of great idea, not so great execution. Why not a full blown phone functionality there like what the Moto Razr did 3 years ago?? It certainly has the room for it. Oppo really took a much bigger screen but copied Samsung with its cover screen like the copycat Chinese they are
Also, having an 8 MP ultrawide camera on 2022, let alone 2023 is criminal. We've had phones with 13 mp ultrawide cameras since the days of the LG G6 almost 6 years ago. I still have mine to this day

Really weird how people compare a current model to a last years model. Wait til z flip 5 and lets see how this one stands. You also gotta consider the software side since it's the main thing people be using. One IU 5 is probably the best android software atm. People get misled with video like this with not much info esp if they want to consider what to purchase.
Wait. So you want people to compare a phone to a device that doesn't exist yet? How would someone even do that exactly?
You have to compare with what is available to purchase at the same time as that's what a person who is actually thinking about buying had a choice between.
They are both actually from last year, you do have to remember that the oppo flip came out in the Chinese market some months ago, if I’m not mistaken, there’s like only a 3 or 4 month gap between the launch of the oppo and Samsung flip’s, so it is a valid comparison. But i do agree, software is key, especially on flip/foldable. Personally, this oppo looks a lot better than the flip 4, but the somewhat lacklustre camera and the lack of versatility of the outer screen, especially as this would be a 2nd phone, not main, it’s putting me off getting the oppo, but as mentioned, I really like the design of the device
Great video, great review. They biggest con is the outer screen capabilities and the hinge not being rigid enough. For the rest, great phone, very nice.

It’s in here actually. Whenever you see a front camera shot of me talking to the phone and it says I’m shooting on the phone in text that’s the audio from the phone. Not sure if that helps?

I use epidemic sounds for the music but don't keep track of the names. Sorry. You can search the library though for trap/alternative hip-hop as that's where these songs are from if that helps 🤷♂️
Flip 4 pictures is better in every scenario. Yes bigger screen on oppo, looks nice, but other than that is useless

Nice hardware, looks better than the Samsung with less crease and larger front finder screen but after that, it ends. Its why people will choose Samsung every time. Better UI, better cameras, better ecosystem. Game over!
Probably the best flip style foldable that has released, hardware looks amazing. But for the price the camera performance is sadly hot trash. Terrible ultrawide camera, no OIS, bad dynamic range, sub par front camera and no 4k60 or 4k on front lens. For the price you are paying you would be far better off with a pixel or an s23.
The answer is NO it will always be NO. These phones all have trash software vs Samsung.
