This BeneFisher (or is it a MerryBen?) model seems like 'deja vu, all over again'. What would have been interesting is to hear what meaningful differences, pro & con, you found with this Beneteau model vs. your Merry Fisher 895 version. If any.
I think Benefisher!! hahah Yes I'm working on doing a comparison type video.
@@TheRudder One difference that stands out to me, altho' it is an aftermarket change, is that broader aft bimini. It seems to much more effectively shelters the cockpit from the sun (and rain) than the vestigal one that' is installed on MF models.
Beneteau's version of your merry fisher 895 i think.
yep they are very similar, still prefer the Merry Fisher (luckily)!
is this australian dollars or usd?
Au dollars. But it was last year.
Thanks for showing the price
The dealers don't like it at all!!
Have you heard about the merry fisher 895 series 2
Certainly have, can't wait until one is in Australia.
@@TheRudder i think you have an access to the top executives of Jeanneau AUSTRALIA, if ever you have maybe YOU can tell them about my idea of a versatile 895 that i will buy if ever they will make one, a combination of the new merry fisher 895 series 2 . I love the SUNLOUNGE of the new merry fisher 895 series 2 and the AFT of the 895 sports which is for fishing. I hate the position of the GALLEY and the small CABINS of the 895 sports. BTW more power on your channel.
Hahaha thanks for thinking we have communication with the top!! Will tell rep but it is a great idea.
@@TheRudder the only reason I am waiting for the series 2 is the improved bow solarium the serie1 has a useless bow compared to the 2
@@Urria110 I agree there is a lot more room on the series 2 on the bow.
Too bad no one is climbing into the guest cabin and heads for scale. Really would like to know this
We do try and do that but at the boat shows is a bit difficult. There is a good amount of room in the head, I can fit 6'2". Mid cab is a good size once in but you do need to crawl in
