Just finished this series and I loved it. The ML character Rong Jia Shang is such a noble, righteous, virtuous, honest, faithful, loyal, wise, loving, forgiving, kind, respectful and generous man. He's a man of the highest integrity and honor. Both the ML and FL did an excellent job portraying their character.

Agreed .It's an excellent drama with credible acting even the villains!! Can't believe that the imposter Rong can live all these years without his conscience bothering him. I suppose there are many evil people in the world in real life that have no conscience! It's a miracle that his son Jianshang is completely the opposite. The ending with "Rong" dying is justice 👍
Loved watching this drama. The costumes, cinematography, script were superb! The acting was awesome and I thought the Tian and Timmy's chemistry was out of this world, they hadme believing that their romance was real. I loved the OST at the end it's become one of my favs. The only thing I thought could have been done better is the ending, it was too abrupt when the couple meet again! I think other viewers would agree 🥰😘 I hope they're together in a another drama soon! Timmy's a real cutie!
One of the best Chinese Series, Eposide 01, the dance was amazing, Chemistry at another level, Timmy gave an outstanding performance, envy of even veteran actors. Eposide 29 gave one goosebumps, Timmy is drop dead handsome, a terrific dancer, in future series l hope the Directors have some dance eposides !!!

This is the second time that I have watched this drama. I loved it as much this time as I did the first time I watched it. The story was perfectly written and each actor acted in such a wonderful way that I felt that I was watching the life of each individual as they were living it. The costumes and scenery were beautiful. It was nostalgic to see both horses, rickshaws and old automobiles on the same streets as society was evolving . The homes of every level of society showed what people had to live in, and the way that each individual had to make their decisions to survive at the expense of others was sad, but very real. What a spectacular time of history to center a story around. The ending was what was needed to tie it all together. I'm so glad that they finally got back together.

I’ve enjoyed this drama from beginning to the end. The different aspects of the storyline came to fruition as the truth of what happened to the Rong family, the stolen identity and the revenge that unfolded. Revenge is such a evil emotion that it brings pain, hatred and cruelty into action, and it’s not worth it. I applaud Jiashang as he played his role extremely well, depicting his emotions so expressively. He’s dynamic despite his young age. Qin Shuigen who played Jiashang ‘s father, also performed his role very well. Overall, the other actors played their roles well. The script writer and director deserve recognition too. It’s a great drama worth watching again and again. Well done everyone.
Like the male protagonist more than the female one. Jia Shang was extraordinarily precocious + capable for his tender twenty yrs; he was also kind + responsible, the opposite of his father. Timmy gave a brilliant + multifaceted performance; he was the sweetest + most adorable when pleading with Shi Zhen, but also mesmerizingly heroic when confronting his father. Xu has bright, beautiful eyes + a gorgeous smile. Shi Zhen was too harsh toward Jia Shang; it was right for her to pursue revenge for both her biological + adoptive families, but wrong for her to destroy the Rong Family in the process. After the most innocent Rong, Fang Hwa, was violated and the malicious murders of many people @ the auction, Shi Zhen should have ceased her collaboration with Meng, whom was de- praved, like the Rong father. She was an intelligent woman + could have taken down Ding Kun, without manipulative Meng's help, esp when Jia Shang was very sympathetic to her objectives, executed his best to compensate + correct the crimes of his father, and eventually gave her all the Rong's legal assets. More importantly, he kept all the promises he made to her.
This drama is thrilling. A lot of action and great chemistry between the leads. It was thrilling from the beginning until the end. I recommend this drama wholeheartedly. 🙏
