thanks for the pattern! i did this 2x but for the row after the tulips, i only managed to get 40 dc. after switching yarns i chained 2, dc-ed in first space, dc-ed in the tulip, 2 dc-ed in next space etc.. at the end of the round i slip stitched to the top of chain 2. i'm not sure what went wrong!

hi thank you for the tutorial! for 3:44 , do you slip stitch into the 2nd chain of the previous round? followed by doing 2 chains again and starting the dc is the first stitch? would this mean that after each round there is 1 additional stitch because of the slip stitch? am a beginner:”)

you should work double crochet all around from start to end and repeat untill you reach the desired lenght
