Excellent Build! I love the Sea Fury! ... years ago I used to work with an old British Navy Pilot who took part in the Korean War. He and his Brother flew the Sea Fury. Lots of stories ! Thanks for uploading this fantastic Fighter build!
Excellent job on the Sea Fury, Luke...it's turned out really well and the weathering is spot on. I agree with your sentiment re Trumpeter's attention to engineering their models. While some of their kits may not be accurate as some other manufacturers, they certainly build up to be terrific models. I have quite a few Trumpeter kits in my stash and have enjoyed building others previously. I am slowly getting through your earlier builds and are looking forward to the Tamiya Viper episode soon.
Sea fury would indeed be in a state in world war 2...because it NEVER was in WW2, the Korean war yes, but was way to late for WW2, Having said that, A brilliant build and you have sold it for me.I was not sure which one. Airfix or Trumpeter? Trumpeter, no contest!
Oh wow!! I never really knew that so thanks for enlightening me… i’ll have to do some more research! From what I have heard trumpeter is a far superior kit to the airfix one! Thanks for watching :)
Excellent work ,mate, not a aircraft you see a lot of in competitions a lot, great paint job as well best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome finishes to the model! The invasion stripes need to be worn in too, looking to bright and new relative to the rest of the weathering. Genius to use the umber on the prop cone for a weathered yellow. I’ve got a long way to go ……
I seriously enjoyed the waffling and intend to try some of your weathering techniques. Up until now I've layed the base colour and then a lightened version in the middle of the panels but your method turns out great so I'll give it a shot.
I have to agree with some of the other comments. That you have used the wrong grey it should be extra dark sea grey. Apart from that very enjoyable build. Having said that it’s your model.
Thank you for the comment! To my knowledge they were also used in certain other conflicts like the Suez and also Korea but I may be wrong! I’m sure some more knowledgeable people will confirm🤙🏻😄
Hey Luke you’ve done a nice job on that well done mate, she looks a great kit. I have the old hobby craft kit and it’s …. well basic. I’m waiting for the kit my mates going to bring out in 1/32 and start again 💙😉👍🏻
I find your commentary so useful as it greatly informs me in what to do! Thanks
Thank you very much! Glad to hear it’s of some use!🤙🏻🤙🏻

Looks Damn fine.

thank you very much!! the technique is really diverse but it easy enough to do, let me know how you get on!!

Yes I definitely agree, I think I rectified my poor paint choice in my recently completed gannet on the channel! Thanks for the comment :)
Those stripes on the wings were ident for D-Day invasion only. The Hawker Sea Fury never flew combat missions in WWll.
Thank you for the comment! To my knowledge they were also used in certain other conflicts like the Suez and also Korea but I may be wrong! I’m sure some more knowledgeable people will confirm🤙🏻😄
Perfect build 🔥🔥🚿
Maybe not perfect but thank you dude!😁✌🏼
Top job!
thank you very much!!

thank you clive!! i’d love to do one of these in 1:32 in a little more detail ;)
@@machmodels well when he releases it and I’ll find out how long the wait is, then I can get you one if you like 💙👍🏻
Brilliant build but no rockets?
thank you!! i forgot to properly mention in the video but the rockets in the kit just didn’t look right which was a shame.
very nice, but the cockpit opening should have been corrected.....
Thank you! I’ll make sure to sort it out for next time😁
Wrong grey. Extra Dark Sea Grey is the upper surface colour. Spoils an otherwise good video.
Ah sorry about that, i just went off of the colour that was recommended to me by multiple modellers. Thanks for watching.
You good sir are a spoil sport rivet counter.
