I was a George Polley and Duffy Collard fan as a kid 6-12. Loved Wimbledon Hot Rods. The I was lucky enough to see Barry at our school in 1884. He was a legend. My old school has been pulled down, great to see Barry still going strong :)
Yes, I did used to watch Barry at Wimbledon Stadium when I was 16 in 1980. He is a credit to the old school of star who actually had a personality, not like today's poor chaps who are wrapped up in health and safety and being controlled by sponsers just interested in the money.
