Seems like you just let frustration get to you, happens to all of us at times brother. The fight isn’t that hard just requires focus, attention and of course ending with a headache as usual 😆 I went in blind with a r4 hulkling came out with the solo 449 hits later had to pause to read the screen mid way as I didn’t understand why he kept getting armour back and knocking me on my a## 🙄 but anyway once you let the frustration in you may as well quit and take a break if you don’t it just gets costly as you get sloppier and sloppier. Not really. The only thing close to frustrating is the solos videos making it seem like this fight has no gimmicks for once, but it does. That & Herc's immortality basically being disabled.

I fought Cerastes for the first time yesterday for the first time, and while I was able to get him down, it took 14x revives. All credit goes to Unit Man for winning this one for me.
I just SMASHED Cerates with my 6* R5 max sig ascended Adam Warlock... Took me some time to get the mechanics (didn't watch any guide or vid about Cerates btw... Just did it reading the bosses phases) but then I DESTROYED him !
Venom and Hulking are better also it would be easier if you used Odin pre fight. And no hate but bosses are supposed to be hard why do they call it a boss then lol.

Solo'd the boss first and ever try. it is actually pretty easy you just didn't bring in any cosmic champs for it. Kabam made it pretty clear that Herc wasnt gonna be a great option for this fight too.
Did you not watch the video? I ended the fight with Herc. And I am so sick of these fights REQUIRING guides. Also, why would any of us think Kabam would actually favor Herc for this one, when the previous Act 8 bosses & ALOT of quests or certain fights have been anti-Herc? Herc's immortality not working in this fight, is 100% anti-Herc.

Ive a r4 herc with 100 sig and completed the boss fight in 2 revives only. They isnt any hard in this fight . ( Just for kind info i javent used boosts also)
I don't know if he's been nerfed, but I literally just fought him after watching 1 and half videos on how to beat him. Fought him with fantman first try and got him down to 1%, only died because his intimidate for some reason didn't change hi AI behavior and he was still playing super aggressive. He's by far the easiest out of the 3 act 8 bosses I've fought so far. Easy to dex sp1, basically only need 1 gameplay loop to beat him (with some slight tweaks after he's 50%). The trick is to just striker into sp1 or striker into knockdown. Those two actions will never repeat each other. Then, you just time it so that right as you armor break him on both the striker and special, you bait his sp1 and punch his autoblock. You can also make this easier by punching is block during one of the instances of striker special combo before you've armor broken him. That way, you only ahve to punch his block twice to get him wounded. Phase 3 he gets random amounts so it's a little more difficultl, but most of the time it's easy because striker, punching his autoblock, and knocking him down are all relatively easy to deal with. PS: the first video I watched that gave me the striker special combo idea was literally one of the top viewed vids, but maybe since this video was made 10 months ago, that strategy hadn't been discovered yet? Anyone who ignores autoblock is probably bad in my personal opinion (maybe I'm wrong), because the AI plays super aggressive and it's basically impossible to get windows to punch his normal block, so I just punched his autoblock instead.

A p2w boss is one that doesn't have much skill expression and requires a specific counterpick to beat and/or requiring excessive skill to the point where the average player needs to spend a ton of revives. This fight is neither of those things, considering the fact that I'm not even that good at this game and I did fine. I think you just had the wrong strategy because 8.3 was new at the time. striker into special trivialized 90% of the fight.

If these bosses were just simple fights & didn't have descriptions that are the length of a Bible page, there'd be no gimmicks. You're guaranteed to die & use revives. The ONLY way revives arent needed, is if you have a team of R5 6 Stars & R2/R3 6 7 Stars. So when one dies, another champ with stats just as high will finish the fight. These Act bosses will never just be normal fights. Look at Act 9, its starting today, the 9.1 boss has FIVE phases & a huge ass description, forcing players to look up guides just to know wtf to do.

I’m just saying that this one is.
The second easiest boss out of the 4 lol also you did a lot of mistakes like hitting him 2 times in block after face 2 not dexting his sp1 at the start. Also stun immune is interesting cause makes it harder and its more fun.

There are plenty of tutorials on TH-cam that breakdown the boss. IMO Mcoc Noob has the best guides. I soloed the fight on the first try with Hercules. It’s all perspective. Removing Herc’s in mortality doesn’t make him less ideal for the fight.

Man tell me about it. I'm an average player and it cost me 10 or so revives on initial completion. AI sometimes won't work in your favor and you're going in fucking circles trying to break his armor. Last 2 fights will be easier but surely not itemless.

I actually soloed him with herc. I just looked up a video of the fight and how the specials and how he works and it was pretty easy and i am no where near an amazing player. If you can evade the special 1 and play with the charges then it is easy. Yes it's nit that easy as people show since i didn't even had half of my health while finishing the fight😂 also the video i checked isn't a guide it was just a video of the fight and then i read the abilities in game

I have to agree. I think bosses like the Grandmaster, Bahamut, The Collector are more challenging than Cerastes. The biggest thing with Cerastes is that you have to make sure your doing different kinds of attacks so you don’t over charge any one piece of his armor. Also baiting his SP1 as it’s the easiest to avoid. His SP2 is a bit harder to dex.
Also, when he goes into overdrive, just intercept his attacks to deal a massive burst of damage and you can move on to the next phase until he is dead.
Revive hog? That's a bit too much yes i nearly didn't get the solo but i still managed to solo him but still even if i dies with herc another champ would have killed him with ease
If the fights didn't had gimmicks or whatever every freakin boss fight would feel the same. The game already feels boring. Fights like these are what keeps things interesting once in a while. Just get good and stop relying on herc all the time lmao.

Adam does have that bs health regen where he cant be hit during it. I imagine that was very effective.

One, he isnt. Two, Kabam taking away Herc's immortality is more anti-Herc shit. That wouldve REALLY lessensed revive usage for this fight.

Man tell me about it. I'm an average player and it cost me 10 or so revives on initial completion. AI sometimes won't work in your favor and you're going in fucking circles trying to break his armor. Last 2 fights will be easier but surely not itemless.

I actually soloed him with herc. I just looked up a video of the fight and how the specials and how he works and it was pretty easy and i am no where near an amazing player. If you can evade the special 1 and play with the charges then it is easy. Yes it's nit that easy as people show since i didn't even had half of my health while finishing the fight😂 also the video i checked isn't a guide it was just a video of the fight and then i read the abilities in game
I used herc….. 1-2 revives for the last two runs, did fully heal though
Bro I died only 2 times on my first try against the boss with little knowledge about how the fight would go. I soloed him the rest of my paths. Respectfully, you might just not understand the fight well and are blaming the wrong things here…
The fact that you died in your first run, means the fight wasnt easy as it seems. Dont know why you mentioned other paths. I sure as hell have no intention of doing that.

I have to agree. I think bosses like the Grandmaster, Bahamut, The Collector are more challenging than Cerastes. The biggest thing with Cerastes is that you have to make sure your doing different kinds of attacks so you don’t over charge any one piece of his armor. Also baiting his SP1 as it’s the easiest to avoid. His SP2 is a bit harder to dex.
Also, when he goes into overdrive, just intercept his attacks to deal a massive burst of damage and you can move on to the next phase until he is dead.

the gold problem? solved by the new feature of being able to sell your t4basic for gold. You get a hefty amount for each of em.
For NOW. I got tons of gold, but knowing Kabam, they'll nerf those gold amounts eventually.
Revive hog? That's a bit too much yes i nearly didn't get the solo but i still managed to solo him but still even if i dies with herc another champ would have killed him with ease

If the fights didn't had gimmicks or whatever every freakin boss fight would feel the same. The game already feels boring. Fights like these are what keeps things interesting once in a while. Just get good and stop relying on herc all the time lmao.

As long as Kabam cheats, Herc will always be the go-to, because every other champ is crap in comparison. No one else can bypass alot of Kabam's bs, because they cant rival Herc's damage & immortality.

You’re one of those people who absolutely can not get through any piece of content without Hercules and even though you have him you STILL can’t get through content without crying, if that doesn’t say “I have major skill issues” then I don’t know what does.

This fight is hardly a damage sponge nor a revive hog. All you need to do is change up your gameplan a little bit and not just parry and smack 5 times and repeat. If you can't follow simple instructions, you're the one being an ass here lmao.
Kabam has a freaking lot of issues they need to sort out, but this fight or any of the fights in act 8 ain't one of em. People like you just complain about every little thing and it's hella annoying.
