Hi Emma another great video the video is much better and brighter ur always deculering ur doing a great job u have a beautiful home ur kitchen is great lovely and clean happy Monday love Barbara ❤
Would you consider switching the places of the bread box and the utensil crock? In fact, as I watch you, I’m thinking maybe the utensil crock could go closer to the stove, right where those wine bottles are sitting just now. I just enjoy changing the position of things.
I suggested the same thing a few videos back. Not only would it be handier for cooking to have them next to the the stove, but also less effort to reach for and it away.🙌🏻🤭
The new camera angles are great! Your kitchen seems so bright and cheerful. I love keeping receipts to look back on and compare. However, these days with some of the prints / inks they fade over time. Keep up with the giant effort you are doing to declutter your home.
Thanks very much. I'm glad my kitchen now looks bright, it's the much better angle on the camera and now I'm not using the front angle camera so the picture is better quality 😊
Hi Emma, great to see you! You’re right about Fairy, I use it for everything including grease & stains on clothes, fairy and hot water is mostly all you need. I don’t disinfect much in my kitchen, just the granite top on the island after preparing chicken. Kitchens don’t need to be sterile, operating theatres yes😊 I also had 3 pizza cutters, then found out my kitchen scissors cut them better than any cutter I’d got so out they went years ago. I adore your dining room furniture, it’s so much nicer than mine, ours is a modern one,no character to it at all. You have a beautiful home and it’s so nice to see vintage items still in use. I do regret getting rid of so many of our DVD’s and CD’s and LP’s, now if I want to watch a movie from a while back it’s often ‘rent or buy’ as an only option, I somehow thought all would be online to stream, many are of course but at a cost. Anyhow, great video as always,I very much appreciate the new camera angles, it’s made a huge difference. 👍🏻 onwards and upwards to 2000 subscribers🥰🥰xx
Great marketing isn't it, telling us all these things that will get stains out, get things clean etc etc. We just need fairy 😂 I like your scissor pizza idea, doesn't it burn your fingers? Thanks for your lovely comments 💐
I think jars seal super tightly due to the bottling process. Some foods are put into jars hot and, as they cool, they form a tight seal. It's an excellent preservation technique. That's why jar lids pop when you open them for the first time. I hold a jar with the lid side under a hot tap for a few seconds, I then turn off the tap, wait a few seconds and find that the lid is much easier to twist off 😊
Hi- The new camera angle looks great! Sounds like you'll have an easier time making your videos. I see you have a New York book. What did you see on that trip? I grew up in a small town in New York and love visiting the city.♥😊
Thank you, yes it's much easier to record. We first went in 2009 and went back again last year. Summit One Vanderbilt, Finance bull, took the boat to see Statue of Liberty 🗽 no tickets left to go inside, china town, little Italy....I have a video on here about my trip 😊
You can twist a blunt knife under the lid of jars and they will "pop" and open easily. I have bad arthritis in my hands and it is the only way I can undo jars.
@@gettingtidy2495 there you go! HA! Give it a try first. Just a dull butterknife, under the lip of the jar, a slight twist and it will pop the lid, then twisting it is easy.
I don’t think we’ve seen that angle before-the one with your hall bookcase, at least not that straight-on angle. Does the open door behind where you’re sitting as you’re decluttering the bookcase open to the kitchen?
Hi, lovely camera view Emma, thank you. I bought a piano and tried to teach myself to play via memory as I can't read music, and I really struggled and sadly gave up. Do you think that one day, when you have time, you could play a little bit of something on your piano as I would love to hear you play. Maybe when you get 2,000 subscribers to celebrate. Pretty please Emma!!!. 😊 X❤
It's hard to learn an instrument as an adult, much easier as a child. I'm not very good. I rarely play but my daughter is taking more and more interest in the piano. I taught her when she was smaller but 3 instruments was too much to practice.
Congratulations on the new gadget for the phone! Much better... Why not put your utensil pot near the stove? That's where I keep mine near the stove to cook well and keep those bottles...is it oils or wine? on like a lazy Susan also near the stove? We had beautiful weather last week mid 70's and then this week cold and snow again😂❤ I too am that way during our hormonal times, I experience very low energy, motivation and blue for 2 weeks. And then afterwards, I'm more active and motivated ❤😂🎉❤ love all the different camera angles of your home ❤❤🎉🎉 do you have pictures or frames or photos to hang on your walls?? My shelves look like your wood case...ah ha haaa.. you and I are sooooo such similar creatures. You must be my long lost sister 😅😊😂❤ Can you declutter a few more things on your shelves unit? Again another lil challenge?
Strange how the weather is so warm and then so cold. I think it's weird that hormones could influence my hoarding radar 😂😂 I have one photo in the lounge of my daughter, one photo of my nephews. In the dining room I have one photo of my daughter. I did have a frame which holds lots of pictures but I don't like it so I took it down and put it behind the cabinet 😂 😊 I'm going to see if I can get rid of anything more in the cabinet!
@@brookhowell8841Thank you :-) two bottles of wine I've not found a home for....two empty tins....some bandages for cleaning....all of which I could put away somewhere....
Hi Heather thanks for the comment, it's normal in England. Most people have this unless they've got a brand new home and some are made with small utility rooms.

💐 some people just don't see an untidy space because it's been that way for so long it's just the normal for them, it seems all three of you are flat top fillers 😁, but you are doing something about it. Did you decluttering the top of your hall book shelf ? 🤔💐💐
@@kittykooky thank you I cleared it today.... It makes the area feel so much more open 😲 No I haven't done that yet as I need to treat the plant to get rid of mealy bug and I'm getting the spray tomorrow.

Yes that's right, the camera is standing in the dining room and the kitchen is behind me.
I see a lamp similar to yours!
There are lots and beautiful west German pottery which I did not buy 😂😂
I noticed a couple of bottles of wine but in different places try a small tray in a counter and designate this as a place to congregate
Good idea, I think two will be poured down the sink as they are so old! 🤔
