To andys point what exactly is it, or how to describe this thing? A term I've been wrestling with is, it seems to be like "self-replicating digital consciousness", quite different from biological consciousness. A.I. is definitely forcing humans to answer BIG questions like; What is consciousness? What deems something to be "living"?
