The doctrine of the Holy Spirit is easily one of the most dangerous principles in Christian philosophy. It teaches believers to place subjective personal experiences above all evidence and argument to the contrary. Evidence and arguments thus lose all power to change minds, leaving us only with stubborn, bigoted fanatics.
