This so true! I am relocating and need temporary housing for few mouths to a year and I did look at Blueground. After reviewing, I did feel a sense of bait and switch when I went to the booking page and saw how different the price was. The final price was still in my budget, but it didn’t leave me with the best feeling so I decided to keep looking and come back to it if needed. Ultimately, I found some Airbnb that worked, and when I compared it to the blue ground, the reviews I read on Airbnb gave me more confidence because I wasn’t walking in completely blind to what the experience might be like. The Blueground properties looked amazing, but I do trust the Airbnb community to give honest feedback. Since I would be renting for so long, the experience was really important to me.

I moved out a month ago, and I still haven't gott my deposit back. "Blueground: Kindly note that it might take up to 30 calendar days for the deposit to be refunded." it is to long and that means: I lose the bank's rate which is 1.8% or more when I trade, Now Blueground get the rate on my money because they delay the payment

The first time I booked, Chicago, it was a great experience, but the second time I booked, Miami, it was an absolutely terrible experience. They even marked the wrong address on the map (the apartment was remodeled and the gate address on the map was the old one). I checked in at night and asked them for urgent help, but there was no response,After an hour I finally got into the apartment at a different address with the help of the kind apartment resident, yeah it was the right place. Until the third day, there was still no response to my emergency email, and I didn't get any apology. And that apartment was so dirty that I had to do a deep clean. So how do they ensure service in different cities? That’s a challenge! The advantage is that in big cities, their apartments are in good locations.

Thanks for the review! It's really helpful. I'm in the process of finding a temporary place for a few months and Blueground was in my radar until indeed, the check out pricing almost doubled; such a shame! Might choose Airbnbs or Zillow again.

Don’t lease their apartment! The blueground apartment sucks! I checked in at one of blueground apartment at 4pm. I was given the wrong key, so I called blueground costumer service number so many times and yet no one to take the call. Finally, I got the key, but they did not give me the stuff to use in the elevator. How should I go to my apartment floor?
I paid in advance monthly parking for 250 dollars per month, but blueground did not assign me a parking in the building or closer to the building. The parking lot is so far away from the apartment. It is 10 min walk. I need to get some of my furniture up and sometime buy groceries and water. How should I put the stuff to my apartment? There is parking garage inside the building and near the building. Why can’t you assign me a spot closer? I never expect to live this.
I spent over 4k per month on this apartment and after 24 hours, no body help me with my situation.
I have no parking spot, no parking card and spot you promised me is 10-minute walk to the place I live, and this is downtown LA with so many homeless wondering around and I’m a 22 years old female living alone.

This was such a fantastic, helpful video! I am considering Blueground for a long-term stay in Madrid next year but I was very nervous about such a large commitment sight unseen. I would love your feedback on the service level if something goes wrong in the apartment, as I have heard some horror stories about competing luxury apartment management companies like Ukio etc.

I'm happy to hear my video was helpful! Each location has a different service provider locally but in my experience contacting the main help for issues with an apartment, they've been very responsive and helpful.

I've been in a blue ground apartment since December. Airbnb is far better... the surge in pricing is absurd. My stay went from $3400 to $5500 overnight if I wanted to stay longer, the bed collapsed, they entered our checkout date wrong and we were locked out of our apartment, I had to switch apartments and the day of the told us there was a structural issue and there was only one other apartment available but we needed to pay the $1000 difference! There was a huge debate for 6 hours before they agreed to pay the difference and the photos didn't match the apartment. The apartment was run down and dirty. Those photos are what it looked like when they decorated it. DC customer service is horrible .

Interesting to hear what it's like in another city under the local management there in DC, even if it's unfortunately as bad as you describe 😕 Hopefully this will help others considering using Blueground there.

Sorry to hear that, may I ask where did you rent with blueground in DC? Thanks

For us Blueground will be great if you need to be on a month to month lease. I'm curious to know if Blueground gave you a pricing sheet for each month depending on your stay? I am planning on renting out a flexible 10 month lease but only staying for 2-8 months. I have a price sheet so I know when I move out early- the rent will be say $4800 on month 2, but if I move out on month 10 it might be $4200. The biggest worry is that they will change those numbers as soon as I give my 30 day notice.

Been in one of their apartments for a few months. Absolutely nightmare. Broken kitchen and bathroom. Fake photos. They barched into the apartment with the spare key for landlord's potential buyer. Non-stop harassment from them. Terrible company.

They require a credit check like everybody else, even though they ask you to pay up front.

    Extremely disappointing and terrible experience.
I booked a long term 3 month stay at a Blueground property and was immediately charged 1 month (over $8,200 AUD). Within hours of the booking, I suffered an unexpected injury that left my foot in a brace. I immediately contacted Blueground asking for a cancellation (within hours of making the booking). Blueground has refused to refund my hard-earned money, saying that the terms are non-refundable in the first month.
Even after providing photos of my injury, a doctor's certificate too - still Blueground refuses to give my money back.
I even offered to change the date of my booking, to a date after I have recovered from my injury - still Blueground refuses to compromise.
It seems this company is unethical, immoral and has poor values. This company would prefer to take people's hard-earned money, and provide absolutely nothing in return.
I do not understand how the people in this company sleep at night, or how they think this is a moral way to conduct business. Companies like this do not last.
Whatever you do - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They will steal your money.

Thank you. I am a broker working for Blueground & CBRE and regarding the evaluation system, that's definitively something we need to implement in future.

Hi, I am a little concerned since they request the whole money before seeing the apartment and i could not directly trust to the company in Berlin. Can I trust them?

Absolute crap company. They don't even treat their potential landlords well. Amalia was inappropriate and unprofessional. Frankly, I wouldn't my 700k property to such incompetent people. Be forewarned.
