    This does not get any better than this. This song is the kind of music I miss like a train that I could not catch. I love this "soul" music, even though I enjoyed it during the 1960s and 1970s decade. These songs were never played on the air. Anyone who wants genuine and pure music must not overlook this one.

      Radio ignored these gems.....I heard 'em coming outta open apt. windows back then. Teens playing 45's on parents livingroom hi fi consoles. Loud and scrumptious sounding, bass turned to hurt me. What a time, what a fantasy...❤

      @@juanvillanueva5267 Those were the [good] old days. Lots of families were close together, especially in the 1960s and 1970s decades, which would equal 1 score. Evil was not as rampant as during these times. The music also came from private homes. I remembered some adults would dress conservatively at the dining tables and sit on the living room sofas watching black-and-white televisions. Electronics and computers were available only to the military, and then to large corporations. I am fortunate to get this music on TH-cam as a last resort. You are smart. Thank you for typing to me.

    The lead singer was Cynthia Girty. I believe they started with 4 male "Imaginations". Ernest Burt owned Magic City Records. I think the co-writer, Leroy Duckett, was one of the Imaginations. They lost one, and became "The Imaginary 3", when Burt leased recordings of The newly-named Imaginary 3 in early 1968, after their Magic City and Blue Rock releases in 1966 and early 1967.

      We love it in the UK and collectors are still turning them up. A massive one on Magic City was 'Prepared To Love You', by Thelma Lindsay, also Mad Dog & The Pups/Soulful Hounds, both storming Detroir records and well loved over here, both in my own collection.

Drive by shootings, stabbings & disruptive behaviors today! A new era of children. Save the Children! Save the Babies! I hope it's soon or we'll all be lost! Leaders killed. Guns placed in the hoods like candy now, high rate 70 % children born out of wedlock now vs. 30-40% back then, smart phones introduced and given to too young children too early, verse good parenting skills, makes for a deadly combination by design. Hope this helps explain some of it.

    • @57MrWill
      @57MrWill 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, Felix played this on "Rhythm Revue". I remember being completely knocked out by it, as I'd never heard it before. I listened to him because he played the hits no one else ever played anywhere else, and a lot of non-hits no one ever played, like this one.
