It is a larger, updated iPod Touch. Load it with content, grab some headphones, and have enough music, videos, and books to last the rest of your life!
It's the perfect replacement for the Google Nexus 7 inch tablet(2013 model). I miss that tablet. Wasn't a powerhouse but did all you needed it to do. Media consumption, email, chat. Basic tasks.

I have owned many many fire tablets. I keep going back to the Fire 7. The HD 8 is nice but I found it too heavy. It hurt my wrist. I just purchased this exact tablet. The review is spot on but I side load the google play. I primarily bought it to read eBooks.
I still have an old FireHD 10, they are little tanks. I remember watching a review where someone was hitting a table to prove how sturdy they are, and the table got damaged and not the tablet lol I just wish they had APPs!
Me too my friend. I actually just bought a refurbished fire HD 10 for $65 which is insane to me, can't wait to try it out. They are hard tablets to use without those apps tho
well you get what you pay for and why it's better to get a android tablet the the amazon since has there on very os on there tablets that are really bad.
I have the 2017 version and it still works. I originally paid around $25 Canadian dollars for it brand new. However it has been sitting in cupboard most of that time. It received its last updated August 2023.
I have the Fire hd8 2019. Its a bit heavy and its been glitchy as of late but i love it. However, i've been thinking about getting the latest Fire 7 or upgrading to the current Fire 7 tablet. I welcome any discussion on the matter.
I’m in the same boat. I have the latest version of the hd8. It’s glitched a bit but it’s not a deal breaker. What I don’t like is that it’s heavy and slippery. I am leaning toward downgrading to the latest Fire 7 because the software is so much better and I imagine it’s a few grams lighter.
This Fires Tablet 7 12th generation model is the perfect sized tablet that fits on your hand and lightweight and very practical to own and lug around unlike carrying a hefty 2 Lb. Laptop which isn't practical to bring anywhere!?...This tablet is much better! I got mine for $102.00 inc!using the No Advertising model PLUS 32 GB of storage and tax + shipping included!
