There's a serious, progressive maturation going on in this band, and this is an excellent result. The first album was killer; the second will be more so. Really excited about the new album.
This song seriously captures an energy unlike anything else I’ve heard. Im so damn excited for this new album, something tells me it’s gonna be something real special. Bright green field was great, this song gives me hope for something genuinely amazing. Squid has at the very least proven that they can stand with and even above black Midi and BCNR.

@@RB-.- are you kidding me? 'Cavalcade' was a masterpiece. Black Country, New Road aren't done yet. The frontman left the band, but the rest of the band is working on new material and they've even been playing it live. It might work out as well, as some of their unreleased tunes are quite dope.
Wow, I see great inspiration from Zbigniew Rybczynski's oscar winning short "tango" (1981). Great idea to use this concept for music video! And brilliant track!
Ive heard a lot of bands all the way to the 80's.... I found these guys last year with the great Cleaner song... then started hearing more and couldnt beleive what I was hearing, I was amazed at the diversity of their sound..... like its a new form of music thar feels very relevant ironically to the original post punks, Joy Division, Bauhas, you name it.... The Fall.... because their music has a cutting edge feel, it proposes a new style that dont know what to call it.... post punk? No wave?.... what is this?...
Listening to these lads on radio 6 for last few weeks. This is quality. I love manic tunes. Try Archie Bronson Outfit for some manic type tunes too !! Xx
Cool song. Excellent instrumental break with the trumpet. Video is interesting - a cat had jumped into my lap while I was watching, and he was enthralled with the flying birds. The chaotic compositing transfixed both of us.
