    Cleaning the toolbag. That is when real detailing begins. Thanks for sharing your process!

    So this is my bike that Jim did such an amazing job on and I can tell you that it really is every bit as good a job and transformation in real life as it appears in the video! A seriously good job Jim! Thanks mate! Honestly folks, Jim’s work is really top notch; I highly recommend him!! 👍🏻

    Hey bro, thank you for creating this content, believe it or not, I was kind of afraid to use machine and heavy cut polish on my bike with all the stickers and scratch, but your video helped me see the results, so now I´m going full polish with machine and everything ! thanks ! keep it up !

    Great job on the clean up, but what's equally impressive is how good this ~20 year old bike looked after 6 years without cleaning. A lot of modern top end bikes would be pretty grotty after that amount of time without cleaning from new, let alone after years of use and abuse!

      I know what you mean. When I was told it hadn't been washed for years, I was expecting something a lot worse. Must have been kept under a cover.

      @@detailtherapy covers don't necessarily help as they can trap moisture in and any corrosion that's already begun will just continue underneath! Honda just used high quality components back in the day and weren't too worried about making the lightest bike possible at the expense of longevity.

    thats a honda F4i not F1

      Thanks for the input.
      From what I’ve read, there are different models called different things in different countries. I’m in the UK.
      I’ve owned an F4i myself and it had the individual separate seats. This one has the ‘banana’ seat which people seem to be referring to as the f1…, they could be wrong though 😂
      Thanks for watching.

      @@detailtherapy It came with split seat and banana seat in different countries. AFAIK in europe the split seat version is called CBR600 FS and banana seat is f4i. The F1 came out around '87, then came F2, F3, F4 (carbed) and then the f4i with the two versions :)

    is it not a bit risky putting a lot of water near the electronics inside?

    • @detailtherapy
      @detailtherapy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a massive issue. I’d never pressure wash over it too close. All of the connectors are sealed anyway. All gets a good blow dry too before it’s turned back on. Only issue would be getting a battery so wet that the terminals connect.

    That's not Honda CBR 600 F1 Its a Honda CBR 600 F4i my man couse I have F4 and the difference between the F4 and F4i is the skull, engine is the same but have injection in F4i and speedometer is half eletronical. Cye'a

    • @detailtherapy
      @detailtherapy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah someone else has said this too. Are you in the UK? When I looked into it, it seemed that there were some differences between regional models. I owned an F4i, and its seats were two separate pieces, unlike this one. So I wasn’t sure.

    Don't think your ment to use touch on or any other ceramic shampoos on motorcycle.

      I'd just be worried about overspray on the tyres... Panels would be fine.
