We're pretty happy here. Check out the other cabin on the ranch. We're working hard to preserve the history out here.

Thanks! We'll have them to spend a few days or a few weeks in them next summer.

I like it! Probably a little chilly in the winter even with a fire going, but livable. I can see myself relaxing by the fire and picking one of the encyclopedias and reading through it.
Sometimes it’s amazing what you can learn. Yep, I’d like it there!

this is so cool, love the idea of heating the whole house with the fireplace downstairs, pretty smart thinking back then!

There sure is ! This cabin and the "new" cabin (built in the 70's, there's a video of it as well) will be available for a few days or a few weeks next summer.

The ranch wasn't quite that much but yes so far worth every penny ! Keep watching as we do cleanup and repairs on the old place. 2 cabins and a lake and a few hundred acres to play in.

1930's I don't think people were as concerned about personal space as much as staying warm. There's a room upstairs and stick a bed as close to the stove as you dare and call it good. It's 2 cabins on a 100 year old ranch in the mountains I'm good with a cot !
