    Hi Chris, Thank you for this very informative video. II am not a technical person, too. I tried using this app on my phone this week. Unfortunately, got stuck, hahaha. Now, I am equipped with some technical knowledge. Thanks again

    Very useful to see it being done in a chilled manner! I agree about the slow pan business. Mine are usually being done up a hill somewhere in the UK (usually Scotland) where getting a soild phone signal os tricky enough as well as trying to be stable while walking along ( need to use my Lavalier mic with it at some point). I've tried once or twice using my DJI Pocket 2 couple to the iPhone but only on cafe WiFi. Outdoors with the P2 I use my Bluetooth remote mic inside my shirt pocket to avoid some wind noise. My new iPhone 13 mini is superb for video but I seem to have done something that prevents me from starting in anything but portrait! I even switched off the phone and restarted in horizontal and still no luck. Rprism still warns me I will be in portrait - and sure enough I am ! :-( I'm sure I'll workit out. Anyhow thanks for show us the ins and outs of Prism which I've never taken time to investigate at my leisure, Thanks again. All the best, Terry (proud 70 year old vlogger!).

    Is it possible to stream to a different Facebook page that I manage and not my personal page? 🤔

      Thanks for your question Virgil! Yes, it certainly is possible and actually really easy to set up. First, make sure you have permission as a manager for the FB page (go to page settings, page roles, and then make sure anyone you want to have livestreaming has either admin or editor rights...moderator rights won't allow them to publish content), and once this is done you'll be able to sign in to the other page the same way as you would your own in the Prism app. Let me know if that does it on your end, and if not, circle back and I'd be happy to film a quick tutorial for you.

    When he says “prism app” it sounds like “prison map.”

    11:25............oh hell no dog. Gotta get that free wifi. No one has data left in my poor circle of friends
    On a more serious note, I don't about other places but, here in New Zealand our broadband is pretty reliable so it would generally be better to stick to that, if you can

    My prism stream says I have to go to the computer to go live why is that

  • @jondnz

    I have something really strange going on. I set the privacy setting on the Prism live app to "Everyone" or public yet all my lives end up being "only me" or private and therefore no one can actually see them. WHAT. THE. HECK?

    • @TerryMcGearyScotland
      @TerryMcGearyScotland 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seems a while since you made video public right enough! Have you selected 'private' or 'unlisted' as a default in TH-cam by any chance. I'm not sure if that can happen but it's worth checking. My trouble is now finding I can no longer do a Prism livestream in landscape - even when I repeatedly start up Prism in landscape mode. I must have pressed something my iPhone. Can't find 'screen orientation' anywhere so far in control/utilities. :-(

      @@TerryMcGearyScotland I should have clarified that this was a Facebook live issue. But I did resolve it but it was a bit of a rigmorol. Had to go into the Business suite settings within my Facebook account and change them to public, not the app settings which seemed more logical

      @@jondnz Ah I see. Good you got it. I got my issue sorted after watching a short video about locking/unlocking portrait mode on iPhone 13. How it got locked I can’t say for sure but I do have a couple of 3 year old granddaughters so I’m just going to blame them!😂
