My Draven play style is more like Tamara, always up close and personal. Whenever I see someone playing max range AD carry as Draven, it just looks weird to me. I didn't try to play Draven like Miss Fortune, whose mechanics are kind of similar (if you look closely). So I don't stay at max range like other AD carries and start chasing people with the mechanic that allows me to outrun my pray. It's inevitable that you'll get closer to the point where you're in melee range and your Q will start flying the way you don't want it to.
