I can’t stress this enough sage…
I fucking love your Naruto videos. You a goat fr.
Naruto has to be one of the most misunderstood and overly hated Shonen of recent times. No matter how flawed or imperfect it is, I truly believe there’s more good than bad with the overall series.
I would honestly say I would say it’s between Ichigo Kurosaki and Bleach and Naruto and his series. People say that Naruto is just a big ass hypocritical series who gets handed everything (which is flat out wrong) while people hate Bleach and Ichigo cuz he’s also “Handed all his powers because of genetics” and doesn’t scream his desires every 3 episodes like Luffy or Naruto
It’s not overly hated people love Naruto. Just online fans misinterpret a lot of themes and even subplots of the series
@@Coreyy12 the issue is that people think having talent equals no work. Ichigo had a training arc every single saga in Bleach.
He was gifted, sure, but still worked for it. Which is not bad.
@@kevintanza6968 omg thank you so much. I get tired of having to explain that every time
@@kevintanza6968I mean, he definitely still had the BIGGEST edge out of literally everyone in the series. This was made clear with how fast he got his Bankai. Like, isn’t it supposed to take your average Soul Reaper 10 years? Most of them still won’t get it even then. Ichigo, however, got it in under 5 months.
Edit: Mr. “Genetic Freak” got it in two and a half days. Was it hard to get it? Yeah. Did he work half as hard as someone like Byakuya? No.
Please do a naruto misunderstood video! Your analysis is elite
I like Naruto becoz we get to see his growth in front of our eyes. He was a little Vandalizer and And wants to become hokage to show-off, but as he than come to know about the cruelty of this world by means of Zabuza to Gaara. And after he accepted that reality PAIN knocks the Konoha. He gets a morality check, ..... after getting power up. Itachi knocks and tells Naruto what being Hokage is......... etc
I love this Knucklehead ninja
As imperfect as the series is, there is a lot of greatness to digest and appreciate from Naruto just for the discourse around it to be simplied if hard work beats talent narrative, Rock Lee what ifs and gawking Neji like they are Tenten. People are really stuck up with the Chunin exams.
Naruto community appreciates you my brother.
The misinterpretations are REAL. Naruto Uzumaki WAS a social underdog and was also an underdog in many fights too.
The main plots are overcoming destiny and hatred. Plain simple.
Reincarnations didnt mean anything and asura CHOSE naruto he wasnt him from start.
Naruto has massive chakras sure but the nine tails if didnt exist, he would be a child prodigy with minato and trainers with him...
It's about overcoming hatred, not destiny.
Destiny is one of many, many themes that were cooking up at the start, but got abandoned after a while.
If you go into Naruto being an underdog story from begining to end your setting yourself for disappointment by the point you reach the end.
Also ppl act as if Sasuke didn't train his ass off. Ppl think Lee kicking trees is hard 6 year old Sasuke burned his mouth over and over literally expelling fire and failing again to master the fireball. Not only did he need to just put in effort but he actually has to focus on chakra control too not just kicking a tree over again.
Oh snap! He’s reacting to the Masked Man!!!
Naruto learning hard work at that age was just because that’s what you need to learn as a child. But once he learned that it stopped being about hard work and it became about the cycle of hatred. Naruto at the end of the first arc says he wants to be Hokage to make the world a better place. He wasn’t standing over Zabuza and Haku’s graves talking about working hard.
1.Neji was right about destiny
2.Kishimoto made Madara so strong he had to introduce another villain.
3.In fact any "Kishimoto said...."statement.
4.ROck Lee got nerfed.
5.Neji was killed to make bond between Naruto and Hinata.
If you happen to believe any of these things, calm down it's not your fault for being a sheep that follows whatever it comes across, learn to watch shows and formulate your own opinions and analysis because there is absolutely no way a senseful person would believe these things after watching Naruto, just can't.
Yeah bro that madara one is SO funny and annoying cuz kaguya is Sooooo much stronger and has more hax and Naruto OR Sasuke could have beat madara alone like a steam release punch would have 1 shot madara but yeah ahahah
The 2nd one kills me like bro kaguya is literally stronger than Madera lmaooo the argument falls on its face😂
Sage keep up the Naruto content bro. Reliving my childhood through your consistently great takes is amazing
People been doing this with jjk, saying itadori isn’t the main character and that other characters in the show should be.
The reason Naruto vs gaara is a underrated fight is bc of the pacing we had Naruto vs gaara, 3rd hokage vs orachamaru & the hidden leaf vs sand village all at the sametime. There was too many fights happening at the sametime
The reason naruto vs gaara is talked about as one of the greats more is cuz of orochimaru and hiruzen kept interrupting it
Romans 12 verse 21
Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good
Psalm 147 verse 3
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
"Is Naruto an underdog, only early on"
Right, because his power is dormant. That's a plot point.
I agree, Naruto vs Gaara. It's because we get payback for Lee, AND it's when Naruto proves himself as --- as apparently stronger than most Chunin..
"WHy are you attaching these two fights"
Because they are attached, Rock Lee is the Naruto of his squad.
I completely dislike Neji. xD
I feel like Neji is the Fight Club of Naruto - the only people who like him unironically think he's right and have missed the point?
"Hard work etc"
Naruto is given basically a cheat code towards the Madara arc, right? Learn any move in an afternoon?
He should watch “Naruto, the self made hypocrite” video. He’s gonna have a “fun” time with that one 💀
Oh, that Naruto video made by Plague of Gripes. Isn’t it like 40 minutes?
The dude that made that video understood literally nothing about naruto. Shit was brutal 😂
@@mookiestewart3776He said it was a joke. It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously
@@just_an_internet_explorer8038. unfortunate that there’s so many “fans” out there that ended up taking it seriously and agreeing with it😂
Im lucky i found your channel basically early before you reach your full stride and before big af ahahah
I don't think people know what an underdog story is. The whole point is that someone with no talent or family achieves something great. Naruto did that at the end of the chunnin exams by beating Neji and saving the village. He is still considered far from powerful, and that's why he trains a new technique. He has just achieved the recognition of his peers and then fails to save his friend. Now, shippuden is in no way an underdog story and kinda throws out the whole talentless thing.
2:39-2:54 This is why I write and I wonder sometimes as to how many of the fans from 2005 to 2013 watch and relate to Naruto and the cast. 😢
The masked man love his videos
Can you do some good fairy tail content that would be awesome
Naruto imo is a story about conviction. Neji fight is about Naruto’s nindo going up against neji’s idea of how the world works. The underdog piece comes in because to display the power of Naruto’s conviction, homie has to face legit challenges where no one expects him to win.
Ultimately, people push an argument about whether Naruto was destined to always be strong or not, but this is just never the point of his power. The whole idea is that it’s nature AND nurture, not nature vs nurture on dragon ball type shit. Naruto eventually embodies the concept of a good nature with good nurture, with the idea that they are both needed to fight those with bad nurture/those who went down the wrong path. From Gaara, to Sasuke, to Obito, to Madara, and possibly even Kaguya (but I don’t know enough), these people all harbor the example of those with the same good nature brought down a dark path, the bad nurturing.
Preach preach preachhh
Nuisance is important
Yeah i don't like weak characters but they don't need to be the strongest from the start but yeah characters like natsu, shinra, asta there strong but there not the strongest from the start
Natsu and asta are my 2 favourite shounen characters
It was awesome 😎 on Toonami
We anime fans share one collective brain cell.
who wins the argument?
a perfectly well thought out argument with an undeniable source
or
"gay glazing fanboytard 🤡"
Naruto fans don't see Naruto vs Gaara as one of them ones?! Man they've really gotten spoiled smh.
Only show that has the main MC as my favorite character is hunter X hunter with gon or AOT with Eren
Not my favorite ost as soon as bro starts speaking 😭
Saying Naruto didn’t make any adjustments against Neji is wild
Even if it was just a sub plot he was still right
Even using rock Lee as an example… Gaara almost ended his ninja career. Instead of playing victim and hating Gaara he bust his behind to get back into shape and help gaara in a fight as well as future battles. The two villages became allies despite that attack the sand did on the leaf.
Bro came out 1 minute ago 💀
Itachi had the best quotes to me but yeah ppl r tripping of they think neji or Lee did
HEYYYYYY!!
300th like!
We should just let them dream bruh
Ngl rock lee would have been a better main character
I’m a BIG sage hater from the pod because I feel like bro don’t be saying shit fr and whenever he do say something it either be stupid or a copy of someone else opinion. I just knew you was gonna have the same point as domo or bsolz. With that being said I love your anime videos man & im subscribed, u got me nigga😂🔥
fuck gara n sasuke i love em but i frfr ROCK LEE SHOULD’VE got a PUSH
so try putting respect on narutos name after they name a bridge after him. not really an underdog..
For me Sakura is more interesting than Naruto as a character but Sakura was done dirty
I don’t think Naruto is a good mc in shippuden
How so?, he had flaws during the early parts of Shipudden but he was good during Pain and War arcs.
@@justinarzola4584 I wasn’t fan of how much his character just became about Sasuke
@@og.noel45 He was about sasuke because in his mind that was step 1 in achieving his goals. If he couldn't save sasuke then he wasn't worthy of being hokage and he couldn't repay the faith that Nagato had in him when he used rinne rebirth. In terms of the story, he'd be no different from all of the other leaders or his predecessors if he gave up on Sasuke.
@@anthonynyazika i understand what ur saying I even liked the line he said about how he can he become hokage if he can’t even save a friend. I still find him boring tho he lost that energy that made me like him in part 1
@@og.noel45everyone had to growup, and Naruto grew up. You are just mistaking it with DB. Which has no Character development.
I think the idea of giving villains a second chance or redemption is realistic I think the way kishimoto went about it was unrealistic
Seeing Naruto transform Gamabunta into the Ninetales for the gaara fight is one of my earliest moments of going " what the actual fuck"😂
Ya that was dumb lmao, he defeated Gaara and Shikaku with just pure skill and no Kurama Chakra at all, just to show you how powerful he is really when he was only using 4% of his chakra, don't forget that 96% of his chakra is holding back Kurama so he wouldn't escape.
@@grizzlycharizard0017 He used Kurama's chakra to summon the toad + right before the headbutt.
@@RikirieNo that was all Naruto he never got anything from the nine tails until the last moments right before the headbutt
@@spiritualcoreciel Chapter 134 he just used the naruto handbook and was exhausted, smiles and then summons gamabunta. Only way he has the chakra for the summoning is if (like last time) he uses 9 tails.
It might not be explicit but it's pretty obviously implied by the dialogue what happened.
