    I'm so glad that you have quantified this method. I've been reading sheet music like this for years. But all I could say about it, is that I felt like I was reading words and sentences. Thank you for breaking it down for all your students! 😊

      That’s fantastic, Rachel! Yes I’m definitely not the first one to think about sheet music this way, but it’s helpful to make it a “thing” to help people to change their mindset, so it feels easier to tackle 😃👍🏻

    Young lady you have such a radiant vibrant beautiful smile I enjoy your knowledge on learning to play the Harp even though mine a 16 string Lyre Harp has still yet to arrive I ordered it to play over my mum and dad’s grave as they sleep peacefully together in the ground thank you for sharing

    I'm so ready for this course!! I have some flashcards with words on it for identifying notes but I really need a community and a good teacher ( you!) to really take my learning to the next level.

    Thank you so much for creating this program! I connected to everything you said regarding the frustration and shame of not being able to read sheet music fluently. I've been memorizing pieces, but if I don't practice them often enough I lose the ability to play them again because I'm not quick enough with the sheet music. Today is my birthday and this was my husband's birthday gift to me. I've signed up for your program and I can't wait to get started.

      Happy birthday Melissa!! 😃🥳🎉 This is so wonderful to hear, what great timing with your birthday and the program coming out. I can’t wait to help you on this journey! Here’s to ending the frustration and shame! 🙌🏻💕

      I wrote an entire E-book which is included in this program, with lots of exercises and explanations. 😃🎉

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And many exercise videos to guide you through practicing and help you to self-check whether you’re playing the right notes. There’s a HUGE emphasis on helping you practice reading fluently! 👍🏻👍🏻😃

    Christy this is interesting. I miss only one information. For who is this? For what level of harp player or what level of "sheet reader" is this suitable? Thanks, Tomáš

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tomas! This is for anyone who is not yet fluent in reading sheet music. You will learn everything you need to know from the very beginning if you’ve never learnt anything about reading sheet music, or if you already know some things but you’re not yet fluent, you will learn a new way of thinking about sheet music, and lots of practice to get fluent. There is more information and description on the sales page if you click the link in the description box 😊👍🏻

    Is the course also suitable if you start from scratch? Only playing by memory so far?

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, definitely! 😃

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I walk you through all the concepts in a way that’s easy to understand (which makes people who already know the basics think about it in a different way), and then I will walk you through a lot of exercises to practice reading right from the very beginning so it works for those who know nothing, and also for those who want to practice reading to get fluent.

    Does your sight reading method work for all instruments or just harp?

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s specifically aimed at harp and I do refer to fingering, geography of the harp, and how it feels on the harp. But my husband has been applying some of the concepts to teach his guitar students and he’s found it works well. So definitely some of it applies 😊 But please note, this is for reading sheet music fluently, not for sight-reading which is slightly different. The difference is that with sight-reading you’re reading a piece you’ve never seen before, but this course is aimed at helping you read pieces fluently once you’ve put in some practice.

    Will the price be changed after the 11 Oct?

    • @LearningtheHarp
      @LearningtheHarp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will no longer be available for sale after 11 Oct, for the time being. We will do this program again, but probably in a few months.

    Hello lady, let me tell you something, I am writing from Turkey because there is no harp where I live, I want a small lyre harp, there is no one in Turkey, I was so happy when I played your harp, I heard such a beautiful sound for the first time in my life, I feel sad, when we don't have it, I request you to give me a harp as a gift. arp I hope you accept this request, I'm ashamed, I don't say it like this, I'm writing it to you in translation, but thank you for putting it in Turkish. May God give peace to your family.
