This thing that happened to George is common, it happened to a friend in Asia. He woke up with his employer phoning to ask him where he was and then his bank called about strange transactions. Bottom line is he was drugged by Eastern European girls, their male friends then led him around late night department stores buying thousands of dollars of whatever, he remembered nothing but it was all on CCTV in the shops. Bottom line is be paranoid.
